Good course.... I'm actually surprised. I'll advice he jeeps applying. These things are not automatic anywhere in the world, even back home in Nigeria you need to struggle to get jobs. LIke I said, I know quite a number of people who got good jobs after their studies, some even before they graduated. I wish him all the best. ahiboilandgas: |

If one tells you he hardly saves 100euros per month, Is possible. So many folks came in here and got frustrated at house hunt and ended up in a house that the pay 700euros per month. As a student, you are only allowed to work for 20 hours a week been like 200euros per week and 800euros per Month. Leap card alone is 80euros per month. Then you also talk of feeding and other bills. At least, I am grateful i stay in a house my work place can pay for and atleast i save quite a few too. Let him find that which eats his money and sort it out. Cheers. ahiboilandgas: |

ahiboilandgas:Hi Chief, You said your bro has graduated, which means he is eligible to work for 40 hours. If he is still not able to save 100 euros per month, then something is really wrong. It doesn't add up. #JustThinkingOutLoud |

ahiboilandgas:He might not be sincere or in a wrong settings. Let him go work another menial job since he can work full time now for two years then save up to come naija this way he will have like 5 million in savings fir the two years if he is not frivolous then come home then when he has some money to himself not coming home to bother anyone and he can then decide to take up another master after the two years or come naija |

Hi people, anyone received update on appeals? I told the embassy I have a final resumption deadline for 3rd of February and the lady (confidently) said no problem, my docs will be looked at. Maybe that's what they'll keep saying till the deadline and they just trying to calm me down. I can't even withdraw my appeal cos the 5 year ban (due to a mixup from them) will remain on the letter I have. |

| Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by ICaSNg(op): 4:23pm On Jan 13, 2020 |
Erickonadu6:Not sure if there is a question here. How do we quantify the number of appeals received in October, I don't think I ever mentioned working at the Irish embassy- so all I can do is encourage those affected to keep praying and be positive. Just so you know. Over 300 student visas was refused for September 2019 intake. That excludes new visa applications for Jan 2020 and Feb 2020 intakes. |
