read my comment before yarning anyhow, It is clearly stated that skills without output is useless in professional football. What is the use of dribbling and display showstopping skills if you cannot improve your team's position on the field or create a goal scoring chance.

And for your info, the ability to make pin point and jaw dropping passes is a skill!

Barcelona was always dominating teams in ball possession so Mascherano was still doing a defensive midfield work because they were playing high line defense.
