Azubuike is putting up a good performance for his team currently. How old is Robinho? Quite unfortunate such talent is now playing in turkey.

So where should a 36 years old be playing?

He should have been playing top football at europe when he was 30 but dude is not serious he was already back at santos then

Robinho is a poor man neymar , robinho didnt even score 100 league goals in europe can you imagine

A certain firminho will get 100 league goals soon , combined bundesliga and epl

He is still world class thou, an ordinary player will never reach 100 caps for brazil as a forward, and robinho is also unserious but still manage to get 100 caps

Thank you for this. First of all, Philippe Trousierre was not in the country for a long time before the game. I doubt he even selected the squad. There was even debates that if he was not returning, Sinclair should handle the match.

Sinclair might have prepared the team or maybe Trousierre came back to prepare but I doubt he drafted the list since the call ups were made before his return from his temporary exile.

Kog45 seems to recollect a lot of specific data of past events and I would like his spin of it.

Phillipe Troussier was the one who qualified us for the WC.

Ghana FA have began announcing coaches for their various male and female national teams, it was just about two weeks ago the former coaches were let go. As for Nigeria, we are still waiting. U17 and u20 Women will begin qualifiers late next month.

In 1998, an indigenous coach, Monday Sinclair qualified the Eagles for France 1998 but it was Bora Milutonivic that eventually took the team to the World Cup.

Please I need your help. We had a long debate once about this but to the best of my knowledge, Philippe Trousierre was not the coach in the dugout who prepared Nigeria for the final game that qualified us for France 98.

To the best of my knowledge, Monday Sinclair prepared us and coached that match. That team had Oruma playing the creative role and Chris Ohenhen came as a sub in that game and gave the through pass for the final goal scored by Wilson Oruma.

Do you remember the game and the events around it. Also, do you remember if Philippe Trousierre was the one who handled that game or Monday Sinclair.

It wasn't Monday Sinclair oo but Phillip Trousier
That local coach honour still lies with the late Amodu shu'aibu

The legendary Lim Kee Chong of Mauritius was the center referee for the game against Kenya in a chock-full forty-five thousand capacity National Stadium in Lagos, with stadium’s capacity reached hours before kick-off. Fans and supporters eagerly awaited what they prayed would be an easy game for the
Eagles.

The Eagles coached by Frenchman Philippe Troussier turned up in style. Playing a fluid 4-3-3 formation as against Troussier favoured 3-5-2.

Abiodun Baruwa was preferred to Atlanta 96 hero Joseph Dosu in goal, a central defensive pairing of captain Uche Okechukwu and Taribo West were complemented in defence by fullbacks Celestine Babayaro and Mobi Oparaku; Mutiu Adepouju,
Sunday Oliseh and Austin Okocha manned the midfield while Jonathan Akpoborie,
Daniel Amokachi, and Emmanuel Amuneke were the attacking trio.

Wilson Oruma came in for Okocha in the 63rd minute, Victor Ikpeba took Amokachi’s place in the 78th minute while in the 86th minute Christopher Ohenhen replaced Akpoborie.

The fans didn’t have to wait to long for their expectations to be met as a debut
goal for nineteen year old Sunday Oliseh in the 14th minute set the ball rolling for the Eagles while further strikes by Emmanuel Amuneke in the 43rd
minute and substitute Wilson Oruma in the 83rd minute sealed Nigeria’s qualification for only the second time.

Nigeria will go on to lose 1-0 to Guinea in the final qualifying game and Troussier lost his job to “World Cup Coach”, the then Yugoslavian Bora Milutinovic.

If rohr is in charge of Barca and they beat Liverpool 3-0 ,there is no way Liverpool will bounce back

Velverde Cup don full ,they should have sacked him since the time of Roma loss ,maybe if we had beaten Roma then he would not have been able to escape Liverpool in the Semis ,e dodge Liverpool and e still go meet them for front grin

Barca won’t win this season champions league but trust me I am happy and I am sure of a trophy this season .

He(Troussier) was still in charge for the last game against Guinea (see link above) before he was sacked due to his style of play not suiting most of our players albeit some internal wranglings within the NFA then....Sinclair took charge of a couple of friendly matches against Zambia in December 1997 before Bora was appointed. Bora took the team to the invitational tournament in Hong Kong in January 2018.

Done Deals : FC Tulsa Sign Three Super Eagles Stars, Including NPFL Record Scorer In Single Season

USL Championship side FC Tusla have signed three Nigerian players with caps for the Super Eagles, pending league and Federation approval, informs the official website of the USLC.

The standout player acquired by the American second-tier club is the record scorer in a single Nigeria Professional Football League season with 23 goals, Mfon Udoh.

Midfielder Raphael Ayagwa and defender Solomon Kwambe have also been added to FC Tusla roster for the 2020 season.

The 27-year-old Udoh has netted over 100 career goals in all competitions and lists Enyimba of Aba, Akwa United and Calabar Rovers among his previous clubs.

Kwambe has played competitive matches for the Super Eagles and was a member of the squad to the 2013 Confederations Cup in Brazil.

Aged 26, the fullback previously turned out for Plateau United, Lobi Stars, Warri Wolves and Sunshine Stars.

The 21-year-old Ayagwa has played abroad before for Lillestrom, for whom he made three appearances in the Norwegian Eliteserien, and wore the colours of Plateau United and Lobi Stars in his homeland.

FK Senica Striker Is Top-Scoring Nigerian Teenager In The Whole Of Europe

FK Senica striker Samson Akinyoola is the top-scoring Nigerian teenager in Europe's First Leagues so far this season, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

The 19-year-old has registered his name on the scoresheet three times in the Fortuna League, with the goals coming in his last nine matches in the division.

Akinyoola, who was signed from 36 Lion in September, opened his account for the season on matchday 10 against Pohronie, before scoring in back-to-back games against Michalovce and Ruzomberok in November 2019.

Antalyaspor's Paul Mukairu and OFK Titograd's Simeon Ajanah-Chinedu are both in second place with two goals each.

Just 19 years of age, Mukaru has received rave reviews from the media after breaking into the first team of Antalyaspor in his first season as a professional and one of his goals was against the big Istanbul club Besiktas back in November.

It is interesting to note that Kwara Football Academy product Ajanah-Chinedu, 19, is a central defender. He used to play for Katsina United and ABS domestically before moving to Europe.

Another 19-year-old, Tenton Yenne, a product of the famous GBS Football Academy that produced Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon and Samuel Kalu, has scored once for FK Senica while producing three assists.
