Does your laptop have a fingerprint reader?

If yes, are the drivers for the fingerprint reader installed and updated?

Hp and Dell both have Laptops with good battery.
When you are looking to buy Laptop with good battery, have an interest in Ultrabooks.

Both Hp and Dell have Ultrabooks but I have had more exposure and interest in Dell Ultrabooks.

They usually have in-built batteries.

On another note, Lenovo Laptops are the best when it comes to battery life.

Hi
I opened the keyboard and realized the pin on that motherboard that is suppose to hold down the keyboard is missing... I don’t know how to go about it because the system was borrowed

You must have applied too much pressure when doing the disassembly of the Laptop.

The only solution is to get the clip and fix it properly so the keyboard flex is held in place.

Anything aside that is to buy a new motherboard
Re: Post Your Laptop Problems Here And Get Solution To Fix It Yourself by wetdspace(m): 9:51pm On Jan 13, 2020
It’s not from me...
I gave it to an engineer who bought a new board but didn’t fix the keyboard for me...

And I took it to another engineer to fix the keyboard but plaster was used which I later discovered cos it didn’t work properly either

Don't just come here and bad mouth a brand name.

Give an explanation about your experience. No brand name has a 100% positive customer review.

Good evening all, please help me urgently.

I want to number my word document on my Microsoft word 2007, but I have been finding it difficult to do so.

I want the first five pages (excluding the front page) to have roman figure numbering format eg i , ii, iii, iv, v, vi, vii........ etc.

Then the rest of the pages to have the normal figure starting from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...... etc.

Please any help to go about this will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

was busy when I saw this, so I just had to snap the two lenovo motherboards that are hand as I have no time to unpack them where they're.

Lenovo, in my experience is one of the most useless brands, sure every other brand have their own ish, but lenovo is most consistent on the chart. It is only with lenovo laptops that you'd

This probably could be from a bad power pack.

Try this DIY.

Disconnect the desktop from power source. Open the desktop casing and
Disconnect power pack from the motherboard (every single wire that is connected to the Motherboard from power pack must be disconnected).
There's a bunch of wire that connects the Motherboard from the power pack usually 24 in number that is arranged in two rows. Locate a green and any black wire and connect the two using a piece of wire. Then plug the power source back to the power pack, if the fan in the power pack doesn't spin up then the fault is from the power pack. Changing it will solve the issue

thanks alot

I will try this .

After you must have combined the works, place your cursor after the last word of the cover page, click on page layout, the breaks, then next page.
Repeat same step for the preliminary pages, then take your cursor to any page of the preliminary pages, then click on insert>numbers,>format page numbers>select the I,ii,iii, option, select this start from I, go to the body of the work, insert>numbers,>format page numbers>select the 1,2,3 option and start from 1, save and you're good to go

I accidentally stepped on my laptop adaptor cord while I was using my system. Now it charges a little bit then later shows plugged in not charging. I removed the battery and plugged in the charger to see if it would come on but it didn't. Will I need a new adaptor?

this reminds me of my ordeals with keyboard connectors when I started learning this repairs stuff. I always had this particular problem then, till 1 day I spent 2 hrs fixing this problem. This is what I do. There's a blue plastic attached to the keyboard flex, that helps it to fit firmly to the Motherboard connector. If this plastic is lost, then you need to replace it, I normally replace it by cutting out a sizeable piece of that plastic spiral binding paper. Putting the flex in the right orientation, then the plastic. cut out a piece of paper to attach it at the remaining space and to help hold the other pieces firmly to the Motherboard (this requires a little dexterity to be perfectly done). Then power on your system to ensure it is working before tightening, if not make a little adjustment to get it to the right position.
This will probably work ( no need to replace your motherboard for this issue)
