This restriction will go along way in reducing unhealthy traffic.

Without fixing all the roads despite trillions of naira budget every year?
What is this about us treating scabies/lapalapa while leaving leprosy unattended?
Is that how wisdom is demonstrated

Local governments should educate them properly in primary schools and fine them in an exemplary manner to reduce offenders.
Is there any rocket science to that

Lol...LAGSG is treating these guys with kid gloves. We have a nuisance that is building up tempo and the solution is not road signs! There's already a law banning them but with zero enforcement. It's easy to enforce but I understand that loads of grey areas are being considered. Note that hordes and hordes of 'people' are being waybilled into Lagos in trucks everynight and they too enter the okada biz with ease, driving with reckless abandon. If you do not treat this menace right now because you are concerned that a thousand people will be out of job, that thousand will be a million in months time and the numbers keep growing.

Atleast some blacks race are making concious effort to leave the backwardness caused by cultural and religious dogma... Goto Ethopia they are making economical moves, goto rwanda they are doing the same, even ghana that have hausa in the northern volta region are doing far better in living a better way

But then come to Nigeria, Even with the hieght of Insecuirity with people being killed and kidnapped in their homes, Hausa would go deaf silent as if nothing is happening and should an alternative secuirity be sorted after (Amotekun) Northerners would rush to condemn it, asking Us to rely on the failed police system with 500000 personells to 200million people..

Till date Northerners dont want a real census conducted, with Dogara openly rejecting the move in the house, how can we plan properly without knowing our numbers

Again I have stayed in many muslim countries and never have i seen such display of child abuse as practiced with some Monafiq who throw out kids to beg in the name of culture, In Dubai or Abudhabi thats a big crime purnishable to the parents.. because Muhammad SAW stated it clearly children should be treated with utmost love and care

I can go on and on but , its time the north start seeing clearly, Ganduje / Kwankwaso did and or are doing their best, building Intergrated power project and industrial cities, if more northern Governors also spring up with industrilization policies then the insecuirity menace would greatly reduce.. the truth is petty farming and cattle rearing is far less economic activities to sustain a modern family in 2020, we need Agro industrilization

Honestly, at this point they can be roasted meat for the cops. I don't care. They are becoming a menace to the society rather than a solution to beat traffic.

Ill-mannered attitude and behaviour like scratching the ground with bottled-water plastics (that shrill kills me honestly), blaring horns like they don't care. angry sad embarassed

Yes o . I used to pity them until one of them rammed into me costing me 60k to repair my car .this past Thursday .

Oride was also part of the problem. They recruit inexperienced okada riders, (graduates, masters and ND holders) who have resort to a last resort to make ends meet, without adequate training all in the name of utilizing several thousands of their idle and substandard okadas, meeting their targets and making money. A lot of their untrained okada riders were always involved in fatal accidents.

Lasg should also try to corb the menace of beggers on the street. It is too much already. And they are already constituting nuisance everyday.

Implemented across all states?
Bikes have been banned entirely in calabar since 2007 and keke 'restricted to certain routes....
Not a biggie.
The roads are still not sane
Re: LASG Installs 2,000 Okada, Tricycle Restriction Signs On Major Highways, Bridges by SpaceAngel: 7:55am On Jan 18, 2020
Those signs are currently there but I still see those tricycles on the highway. The issue is not putting the signs but enforcing the rules.

What we should be advocating for are good roads. If there were roads, there won't be any reason for bikes in the first place. Let's not have this attitude of because it doesn't look pleasant that means it should be eliminated. There is a reason why bikes became popular. Let's encourage the government to be critical in thoughts and actions and not killing a fly with a sledge hammer

Sad but true.

The Apapa and Badagry road areas are not road worthy. What would you advice ?

All the development in Ethiopia is done by German Chinese and western contractors. The black race is a disgrace to humanity.
