But why is this AMOTEKUN full of old men? Old man plus 35 years of service, check it out, it not good. They should start from 20 to 27 years old men and women. Why do I see old men of 30 to 35 yrs there? Where they commanders?

As a proud and bonafide son of Igbo land, I am fully in support of The Yorubas on this Amotekun. You guys have taken a very bold step and we your Southern brothers are highly proud of you. You have set a positive pace that every other southern region should do fast and emulate without delay. How can one tribe be so blood thirsty that they invite terrorists and blood-thirsty illiterates from other war-torn African countries to come and be killing our own people in our own land in the name of rearing cow abi cattle, what kind of nonsense is that If The Fulanis escalate this issue, then we will jointly tell them that it is time for Nigeria to be divided into Southern and Northern Nigeria for peace to reign since they have sworn to turn Southern Nigeria to another Northeastern Nigeria where they and their blood-thirsty Fulani brothers have turned to ruins in the name of fighting for Islam.....is it not the same Islam Yorubas are practicing Why must Hausa-Fulani Muslims enjoy killing and destruction ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! Southwest should not bow to their threats pls, the rest of Nigeria are solidly behind the Yorubas! 4 Likes 1 Share |

With the way SW governors are going about with this security outfit, it shows that if SW, SE,SS join hands together, there will not be anything about HAusa-Fulani. Aboki dun show naija pepe |

If hisbah exist as a parallel force arresting people that goes foul of Sharia code, then amotekun is even more legal as it's task is to protect all lives and property 1 Like |

Amotekun might be a good idea only to civilized and sane people. If it is established in a country where people are so evil and barbaric to even their brothers, then the disadvantages might be worse. Those recruited into this security agency or whatever they call it should be scrutinized thoroughly so they won't end up like SARS and Nigeria Police which already are menace to the country. Let's not add more pains to our wounds. 1 Like 1 Share |

Where are the leaders of South East. Where they sleeping when the leaders of southwestwere working? One of the most devastating attack by the Fulani herdsmen was carried out in Enugu which falls under the south east. Do they think sharing bags of rice and keke napep is the most pressing needs of their subjects? Do they think collecting chieftancy titles is an achievement? It is time the easterners should demand an answer from their leaders on what strategies they have to better the lives of their ppl and not supporting some seccessionist biafra. I am truly proud of the west for this achievement. Long live Nigeria and long live the southerners who have over the time been marginalised and fallen victim of poor leadership since the history of independence. 4 Likes |

I see great opinions and idea here. I think the SW should ask the federal govt to explain the legality of the Islamic police in the Northern part of Nigeria and if no constitutional explanation is given, then the federal govt should then explain why the Islamic police in the northern Nigeria *was and is still* allowed to strive well with support form the state govt of the various Northern state. The federal government should also explain why the sudden focus on the south west security outfit and ignoring the existence of similar structure in the northern part of Nigeria all this year's 3 Likes |

DonroxyII: So in your mind you think Ilorin can't be taken back, I hate talking with weak people. Nigerian topography and landscape show clearly Ilorin is part of Yoruba land, it is on the side of river Niger that belongs to the West. With a simple social and political restructuring, the region is going back to Yoruba's. Even most of the people currently in Ilorin are Yoruba's, it does not even require any military solution. 2 Likes |
