Community and state policing featured prominently in APC manifesto. This is the time to walk the talk. The president must resist all political and tribal considerations and support the effort of south western states to protect lives and properties. Insecurity is the biggest threat to national unity and this must be dealt with through collaboration between all tiers of government.
you are on long things if you are still expecting this yahoo yahoo party to fulfill any of its manifestos

Amotekun is not constitutional...you cant have another security outfit in a country with one central security set up.
These governors are not well advised...they should have pressured their representatives in the national assembly to pass laws that allows state policing.
I see this getting to the supreme court which am sure they would lose.

The truth is that the state of security of the nation is in shamble and any measure that is employed to salvage the situation is a welcome development, provided it is within the tenets of the law. But fighting the south west Amotekun, when Miyetti Allah cattle breeders are raging havoc and taking responsibilities is total nepotism and should not be taken.

Whaooo. That's brilliant of Atiku. Instead of the other politicians from the north supporting the security network, they are rather criticizing it because they are unable to have such initiative at their region.

Trust Atiku to support anything that destabilises the country so that he can loot with impunity. And those "Supporters of evil and corrupt politicians", think we are all too stupid to understand their evil plans!

They should dream on about their amotekun because that's the only place they'll get it.

Nobody is against community or state policing but there must be laws that establishes it and it's only the national assembly that can pass that laws.

Now you people know a constitution exists...when a little lady was using the presidential jet for a private tour as if it was her dad's vehicle non of you recognised the existence of the constitution.

Have you forgotten so soon that it was Obasanjo/Atiku's regime that the so called Sharia law and hisbah( Regional Police in the North ) was formed, then it was not tagged illegal. Why now AMOTEKUN is tagged in Buhari's regime as illegal. Moreover Atiku's reaction is issues based and not political. Must you always see issues from the political angle.

He's saying the same thing with he's northern brother only he use tactical bases. Any security that is not answerable to state government is useless. How can one man stay in Abuja and send his brothers to go and protect criminals that burn people farms. we are tired of police that control by federal. Atiku is saying of creating more zonal and community police that will still report to Abuja. why is north afraid of state police, because it will reduce the numbers of the northers control over others. it will reduce the immunity of Fulani's criminals and kidnappers. if more security out fit is created where is money to finance it come from. all the north are the same no matter the way they speak. state police or community police must be in governors control or we continue with Amotekun
