last december, i hate alot of good delicacy from my christian friends, families and relatives that i literarily forgot rice exist, does who even offered me rice i declined

Soon the numbers of appendix operation in our hospital will be alarming because na stone full most of this local rice we now eat.

Locally produced rice from Kogi and Edo dont have stones...Most times, stones find their way into it wen the rice ar spread on bare ground to dry...

I'm shocked whenever I hear these stories of stones.
If you have anybody living in Abakaliki,get the person to buy for you FROM ABAKALIKI RICE MILL.
I've been eating local rice from that mill for thr past 20yrs and I've never encountered stone.
Just small chaff you can decant with the water when you are washing the rice.
The problem might be from the other rice milling clusters in the villages where you might not have quality milling and destoning machines.

Nigeria bag of rice could as well use as concrete for the construction industry since it has lots of stones in it.

Until this is change, we can't say we are producing rice.

The local rice I eat here is stone-free but it's sticky

I don't know where you all get your rice but Abakaliki rice does it for me. It is mostly stone-free and also very affordable, contrary to the report up there. I prefer local rice to foreign rice but let me sample the opinion of others.

Local rice is better than foreign in everything. Maybe the local rice I'm eating is not the one the writer is talking about.. Only Basnati rice is better because of its unique scent and longer grains.
