I am from benue and will tell you that 90% of benue people will be happy to see ortom out. He is a total failure. So those of u talking on party lines don't know what u are saying. Even if a candidate from any other party aside apc challenge him in court we will support that candidate. We just want him out

If you guys truly want him out, you should have voted massively against him when you had the opportunity. Waiting on the Supreme Court to help you do what you could have done yourself some months ago is not the best way of dealing with an unpopular government.

lol. Dnt knw wat that means. Am not even going to argue with. The akume u re talking about is the best governor apart 4rm late rev. moses adasu benue ever had. Its not about apc. Infact i dnt mind if ihedioha can be benues governor implace of ortom. Thats hw incompetent ortom is. A true person thats a civil servant or related to a civil servant in benue will tell u ortom has not been doing well. apc, pdp or not.

It doesn't matter , he won his election fair and square ..is the supreme court a place to determine if a Governor is performing well or not?

That's not enough reason to forcefully rob him of the mandate given to him by his people.

If you feel he's incompetent, then vote him out at the next opportunity.

It's sad, really sad that Buhari has bastardized our Judiciary to the point where people now think the Supreme Court has the power to remove a validly-elected Governor.
He rigged himself in

Several Factors gave Ortom an advantage.

1) The Fulani Issue

2) Jime is from same Zone B (Minda) area as Ortom in Benue.

3)The Zone A (Sankera) people felt if they vote for Jime he will serve two tenures.

4) Jime is not a peoples man

FROM THE SUPREME COURT TODAY
JIME VS ORTOM
Jime's lawyer said after card reader accreditation, you proceed and vote and as such, the card reader accreditation figures should tally with the result of the election.
One of the judges asked him, what if someone drops ill after identification by the card reader?
Another judge asked, is a voter bound to vote after accreditation?
Na there wahala come oh.

At this point, he somersaulted from his earlier argument of "perfect, congruence and alignment" to argue that the figures should be almost at parity. It is contradictory to argue for "perfect" in one breath and in the next breath mix it up with "near perfect". Perfect and near perfect are two different things.
Secondly, Jime's lawyer said with the judgement of the Supreme Court on the Imo appeal, they don't need to call witnesses polling unit by polling to prove their case.
One of the Judges quickly intercepted him, she told him not to misquote them, he should first get the judgement, read and understand before quoting them.
She told him the case in Imo was about election that was conducted and result of some polling units not included in the final Collation.
Jime's lawyer quickly withdrew his submission.
Me: JIME lawyers are wonderful.[/color]
