However, what kind of submission are we talking about here?...

1 Peter 3:5-6
5For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful. They were submissive to their own husbands, Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her master. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.

So aren't the pious Christian women of today also supposed to follow this example and call their husbands their master?

It is good that the New Testament teaches that a wife should obey her husband but you can kind of get the impression that it takes it a little bit too far...

Ephesians 5:22-24
Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

The wife should submit to their husbands in EVERYTHING? Isn't that a little bit too extreme? Paul is saying that the wife should submit to the husband as the Church does to Christ. Now since Christians believe that Christ is God does that mean that the wife should obey her husband as if she is obeying God and give him the same rights? The verse clearly states that the wife's submission to her husband should be as one's submission to God and we all know that this is unconditional submission.

Christians might argue back that a wife doesn't have to obey her husband if he orders her to commit a sin against God, for God would never order such a thing. Fine, but what if the husband orders his wife to do something that might be injurious to her health? If God ordered it, she would have to do it, for God has given the woman her body and she has to submit to Him. This also means that she would have to obey her husband since she must submit herself to her husband's orders as if God Himself were issuing them.

that is why I keep saying a feminist has no use of the the bible and ought to dump it instead of cherrypicking or compromising the fictional book. Sadly they will argue till thy kingdom come and gaslight you on the scriptures concerning the role of women.
The bible propagates patriarchy, dump the bible or accept patriachy. I have personally dumped the bible.

One of my neighbours, a once very athletic, sporty man, energetic and outgoing man, out of the blues, got bedevilled/afflicted with stroke.

The man, though now recovering, is a shadow of his former self. In my estimation, he probably now, is somewhere between 30-45% of what he formerly was and the improvement's partly down to physiotherapy etcetera involving and/or requiring strenuous effort that I could see on his face when I bump into him doing his daily learning how to walk again exercises etcetra, that it is difficult and tiring.

Now you guys, will say his missus, as in, his wife, can not and/or should not teach this man anything at all, lol. She should not lead in prayers worship etcetera in their household, even when there was a time this man even lost his speech, smh.

I just tire for all una, smh, 'far to see" bunch of Pharisees. Case in point, Zipporah, when her husband failed, wasted no time in taking the lead in something spiritual and that is a commanded religious rite demanded by God.

I have earlier intimated and advanced that the woman has been absolved by Jesus. God, as a matter of fact did so, when Jesus asked her the following questions: "Woman, where are your accusers, Where are they? Is there no one left to condemn you?" The Woman then said, "No one, Lord." and after which, Jesus then said, "I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more." So, if after 2000 years of that, women are still having a hard time, then who is to blame, huh? It definitely is not God, lol. so.lite3, Blue.Angel444 and Co hmm?.

The classic finger pointing game is on, eh, lol, but what you guys dont seem to notice is that three other fingers are pointing back at you and the fourth at the spot you are standing on, lol. With Jesus restoring the woman, it is hypocritical to not see or have at least a single book written by a woman in the New Testatment, instead
what see and have are males, under the influence of men controlling power, come online to promote and/or perpetuate male dominance, so to keep women from their rightful equal leadership role calling and/or prominent positions.
