It is a sign of strength. It is very difficult for a man to forgive a cheating spouse compared to a Lady forgiving a Man.

first time can be termed a mistake but a repetition signifies a confirmation.

u can forgive a first timer but not a serial cheat

Forgive but do not accept back!

Because if a cheat do not kill him/herself, s/he will definitely kill his/her spouse.

Forgive is strength.
Accepting back is weakness.

If you're doing it because you're afraid you'll never find someone else if you let the cheater go, then it's a sign of desperation and therefore, weakness.

A person who cheats on you has broken whatever trust you have with them, so why being with such a person whom you can't trust. And nothing like a mistake in cheating especially when the person was caught.

Nothing is universally right or wrong

For those that forgive,there are many underlying factors and reasons why they still believe giving it a second chance is worth it

Some eventually did not forgive, probably because they are those strict type who wouldn't compromise, those that wouldn't bend their principles and rules even if the whole is at stake

Both has nothing to do with either strength or weakness, maybe with situation ethics tho

To cheat is a big crime. To forgive a cheat is pure weakness.

We had good times together

We played, joked, kissed and loved each others dearly.

You made me not have sex with you for good 8 months and a guy was able to convince you to have sex with them for just 2 weeks.

You don't love the person anymore. Cheaters have to be foregone.

Don't go back to them. They will still do it again. Tell me one person in this world that stops an addiction to something in just a day.

Whatever it is you do, it certainly can't be anything but WEAKNESS.... as there is nothing related to strength when you lower yourself to stay with A DECEITFUL/DISHONEST/UNTRUSTWORTHY/DISRESPECTFUL/UNFAITHFUL partner.

...Only a very weak low self esteem insecure (or very desperate) person could do that

Forgive them. That is a must.

If you wish to continue with them, that is your personal choice to. It does not make you a weak man but a pragmatic one. What applies to one person does not apply to all, what benefits one person may harm another person. Find what is best for you and stick with it.

As for me, I can forgive a cheating partner, but that relationship is dead afterwards because there can be no trust and respect. and We shall part ways and we shall not be friends for any reason.

depends on the situation and the couple involved.

If it is a relationship, definitely a weakness, but if it is a marriage, accepting a cheat without making sure there are consequences of such behavior is weakness.

Truly forgiving a cheat is strength, but forgiving and forgetting is a weakness.
