Dear Liftitupo, kindly leave Lofarms alone. The messages I am getting cos of Nairaland are too many. Some of my friends are not happy with the way things are. I did not tell you cabriduo is not ok. What i said was that it will soon not be effective like ridomil gold, and it is not that effective again cos of abuse. The truth is that he tried with diseases management so far (maybe cos it is his first time on the land as mildew dont disturb the first time), but he needs to dress his farm. Please, let peace reign in his thread. My goal is to push people into Agric. If he can do it, i am happy. Please, let peace reign in his thread. Try to correct him if you can. Bros, You are blessed for your wise words. I decided to stay clear of all the useless fighting and back and forth because it doesn't benefit anyone and certainly doesn't benefit me. However I must state this clearly, all this nonsense on the Agric section is due to the attitude of kill or be killed by @Pistotita. He insulted, cursed and accused anybody that held an opinion different from his. Personally, he called me cancer spreader and boko haram member! This set the precedent of abuse and curse anyone that has a different view to you.

When I said @Pistotita had a previous moniker he insulted me and called me a parrot. Now he has admitted it. Will he apologise? And set a better precedence of humility and cooperation? It is up to him.

I understand he probably has been hurt (for lack of a better word) previously. But a great man shouldn't change because of a few evil men. @Pistotita you are great man but allowed what happened to you to make you resentful. I pray whatever you lost will be returned a thousand fold. Just return back to your kind and giving self that people that have personal dealing with you say you are.

Let's bring unity and cooperation to this agric forum. Then it would become so much easier to fight scrupulous and fraudulent people, scammers and opportunist will have no chance against a united front.

I read the link. Read it very well. The post says that murano is gynecious which is also predominated female. The writer is seriously confused. This is where theory is needed. You can only mix gynecious. You people should get your facts right. Murano is not gynecious. It is female pre dominated. You people keep deceiving yourselves. Pisto himself said his first cucumber was cu999 and murano. He has said it in his group how Jasper supplied him cu999 and how he got murano from technisem in Ibadan. Then, he added nagano to the field. Pisto mixes too. You just need to understand what you are doing based on your market. And he said that was his last time of doing it cos he only wanted to test cu999 market and it did not favor him in mile 12. Why mix murano and cu999 for cross pollination. Murano is female predominated. Ratio 1: 15 of male: female is needed. 1 male to 15 female. Check your murano and you will even see like 5 males or more flowers per plant while you have like minimum of 15 and going to 30 flowers. Then abortion starts after every harvest. But check cu999 female is not that much. This is why pisto recommends prunning for murano. I pity you all. Follow his teaching and you will start seeing it clearly. Go ask anyone who has planted murano without prunning. After every harvest all flowers abort which leads to poor harvest but uou blame poor pollination. Even ask people doing Darina. You should mix with only darina and greengo, and prune. Go and do your findings well. Go and search google. It is there. I pity you practical and facebook farmers. Murano is gynecious?? Scary!!! My two pence is that pruning 500 plant well (trust me I have tried) is extremely difficult so imagine pruning 10,000. So depending on your personal style, 500 very well pruned plant can rival 3000-5000 not pruned plants. But I know the one I will choose and the one that would be easier for me. Finally mixing gynoecious varieties that produce predominantly female flowers with seeds of monoecious varieties is possible and exactly what you should do, Of course depending on the availability of pollenizer (bees and butterflies etc.)

I almost deleted, but a wise person told me to stay for some weeks and I can resolve issues which come up. The person is right. I did not deny it. I remember vividly, Delgi first said it that fluent..... is back in ny thread. And I just stayed silent. I knew why I stayed silent. He did not attack me, but he sounded happy for me that I was back. However, you , Jethro, excanny and tpben or so attacked me asking me that deletion means pranks and bla bla bla. Why? My brother, it has always been like that. Even in my college days I was the only black boy in my class. I went to an American Jewish College where rich kids go. How I got in was a miracle. And the "beefing" started. They felt it was going to be the usual "monkey" racist stuff, but when God decided to use me to show caucasian that blacks are good, I became the favorite of all my professors who are also white. There cannot be unity in NL. It is not about agric section. This is the headquaters of scammers in Nigeria. They have built castles here in NL and they arent paying any tax. They are using this site to scam, hack, and blackmail. Pray you do not fall a victim. My friend I talked about was hacked too including the fellow's siblings and parent. To the extent scammers cloned one of my friend's email.
