to the pastors, evangelists and God ministers in the house I have a question which i need a honest answer

If someone has a call of being an evangelist or a pastor and he doesn't like it, can he avoid it and do what he love and still succeed?

I am not a Pastor nor an Evangelist nor a Minister. But this is what I have discovered about life, if you are truly called, you will love what you are called to do. If you hate or struggle with what you are being called to do, then you are not called. One must be at peace with what he or she is destined to do in life.

I agree with the poster above. God cannot call you to minister without giving you the desire and ability to
1 Corinthians 15:10
''But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not in vain. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me."

Of course he can succeed for himself. But the real question is, "Is he useful for/to God!?"
Has he succeeded for God?

On a serious note:
How do you know you have the call of an evangelist?
How do you know you have the call of a Pastor?

By "call of evangelist or pastor" I assume you mean ability to draw an audience and also being good in public speaking.

These are separate from actually hearing from God about a call to ministry (I'm not attaching any connotation here, either good or bad).

So, if you feel you have the first two as a basis for ministry, what you have doubts about is the third I assume?

if he succeed for himself and not useful for God, is there any consequence? Will he go to hell from that?

For how long will his success last? We know what happened to the likes of Paul, johnah, and other disobedient servants.

However God is merciful, so you can do the evangelism as part time. Disobedience to do the work of God is a sin, you will have to give account of the souls who you should have saved on judgement day.

Some people who had the call of God are reluctant, but developed love for it gradually. I was as stubborn as you are, but currently I am willing to allow God use me, holy Spirit showed me this Bible chapter twice in the past, on two different occasions, ist Corin. 7:21-22. I also received another Bible chapter which I cannot recall that still talks about accepting your duty in God's vineyard. Create time to take up the call of God in your life, you can start little.

How do you succeed in life yet still don't consider yourself useful to God?

I don't understand this part.

Was it not God who blessed you? Feeling you want to go into ministry shouldn't mean God does not like what you do in the secular world.

Now, if you say you're bored with secular stuff and feel more fulfilled in religion, that's different.

I wasnt referring to illegal or amoral activities where people are obviously not in a Christian lifestyle .

I meant if you are doing well in the secular world, in any vocation besides the types you just specified, why should you consider it a sin or ungodly just because it's not ministerial work?

Dude if you have a calling to join the ministry & you don't wanna do it, it simply means that you didn't have a calling in the first place. Which kind spirit go call you to do what you don't want to do?

Of cause he won't go to hell. But his eternal reward may not be big for He served himself rather than serve God.
Mat 6:2:
"Therefore when you do [your] merciful deeds, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may have glory from men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward. "

A person can indeed work, but if it is not accepted how can he be rewarded for what he wasn't sent to do?
