A certain ediot on NL did a thread about how Cosplay identifies wrecked vehicles. This gave crook auto sellers heads up on what to cover/hide when posting their dead cars on NL.

Since then, Cosplay took a step back and gave up. We miss you sir. cry

identify fire, I tried all those methods on that thread and they don't work at all, from what I saw most cars cosplay exposed don't even have all those lot number or whatever, many of them I still wonder how manage

you would see a car with no vin number or auction number or anything yet he would still get the pictures and chase the dealer away loool

I think the bros is just busy with other things, exposing cars cannot go on forever

He doesn't use any of those. How can reverse image work for a vehicle already repaired and colour has changed

He doesn't use car lot or any other number, he doesn't need it, most cars busted don't even have that information except probably he goes to view every car posted on NL which is very impossible

So he applies reverse image search on pictures snapped in Nigeria and it takes him to accidented pictures at auction. Welldone sir cheesy

The only think I can think of which is even unlikely is that he goes to sites with history of auction like bidfax and tries match the vehicles advertised on nairaland to the ones on the site using their year of production. But then, it's a very tiring to do and some of the vehicles have even been repainted on arrival. He's the only one that knows how he does his thing.

Cosplay only came onboard to create awareness concerning using a vehicles VIN to determine its history and beat dubious car dealers.

He has since metamorphosed to one major monika that provides VIN related services on the forum.
