Because u asked which one is cheaper to maintain and has better fuel consumption. The answer is pretty simple, it's Corolla by miles. Any mechanic can work on that 1.6 or 1.8 4cyl engine, parts are cheaper. If u had added which one is more luxurious or better on the highway then we have a case.
