It would have made sense if you haven't had about 6months to prepare the lunch, you knew the number you invited and the seat positions they'd be taking based on rank, all you were waiting for was a final guest list to enable you start to notify the individuals. How hard can that be? Note that this is not your first time of serving this kind of lunch to a large number of people which implies that there is an existing template.

Hence, my submission that your info is trying to paint the chef as incompetent which I strongly doubt. I believe someone is yet to give the ultimate go ahead to serve the dishes.


The other guy's info as regards the upfront budget makes more sense, as some candidates may have been added to appease the Landlords, hence the undue bureaucratic delay in obtaining re-approval but it is certainly not due to the chef's incompetence.

Even the NNPC pple aren't certain sef. I remember the sending invitation for CBT and said that they will send exam details on Monday 27 may 2019. But dey didn't send it dat day, until the next day. So it's obvious that even the NNPC pple don't follow deir own timeline.

This NNPC of a thing is becoming more of a curse than a blessing self. I can't imagine after slowing down so many of my decisions due to the uncertainty surrounding the apl, they now go and shenk somebody. He no go funny at all.
