Lolz..7/10, that's fantastic. Firstly the movie Harriet wasn't meant for fun, it was meant to be a documentary & Bio.

Secondly, am not dissuading anybody from seeing the movie after all, na u get your MB, it's just my opinion & i basically said it how it is.

No offense sire, but you probably don't know the story of Harriet. If the title of the movie weren't tied to Harriet Tubman, believe you me, it would have been an outstanding flick, but calling it Harriet & giving us another thing, that's totally unacceptable by me.

The writer of the flick basically wrote what ought to be, instead of leaving it at what is/was

That was basically a summary & it was gotten from Wikipedia if am not mistaken, that barely scratched the surface of the Harriet Tubman's story. Had it been that i still have the Ms word document i did on her, I'd have gladly mailed it to you. The movie was good but historically inaccurate, hence my very poor rating. All the same, let's just leave it at that.

Yeah I still remember I am Weasel & his rival, I are baboon, silver hawks, Dexter. What of Real ghost busters, Godzilla, Samaria x, The Zeta projection, Batman of the future, Biker mice from mars, Thunder cats.
Those good old days when Pinky would be like " what do we do tomorrow night brain " & Brain would respond, "the same thing we do every night Pinky, try to take over the world".
Damn!, i was a cartoon freak back then.
And the series we had then were quite different from what we have now, series like, Luis & Clark, Sledge Hammer, RoboCop, X-files, Allen Strange, Buffy the vampire slayer, the pretender, The Cosby show.

I read the story on wiki, but firstly, why would a man that knows what hardworking means rate a movie at 1/10. Seriously?

How did the writer wrote what ought to be? Pls, tell me. Where do you read your story from? maybe u should share where you read your story from to prove what you said. The following quoted text is copied from Wikipedia. I copied some part of the article. Read it and tell me how it is different from the movie. I read it and majority of the point was noted in the movie, few part was branded to fit a movie sense just as it is with all real story movie. They didn't call it Harriet and give you another story as you mentioned.

Chai, you just make me wanna cry. The Quality we had back then was so bountiful, we were spoiled for choices. Quality toons left right centre. No dull moment.

Lol, that PINKY AND THE BRAIN theme song, I still remember most of the opening song.

I was also a Cartoon Freak back then, chai those years. I must watch Silver Hawk, Dexter early in the morning before I go to school. So tey I dey late come school my nickname come be the "latecomer".

i really enjoyed that movie.

Terminator: Dark Fate...5/10
Genre: Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

A sequel to T2 they say... the movie was more a remake than the aforementioned. Script was below par, acting was just there, there wasn't any emotional connection between the characters, special effects was just there too, I'd personally rate T1 & T2 special effects over this. All in all, it had some great action sequences, that's all.

Now you've touched my inner child, yeah 1/10 was quite an outrageous rating, let's just say i did it in the heat of the moment. To create a concept out of ones mind isn't really an easy task, and for that, I do hold writers in high esteem. The thing here is that most times,we let our emotions get the better side of us & the result is cataclysmic.

Let's just say i went into the movie with so much expectation & basically wanted it to be the way i imagined it while reading about it, no sugarcoating or mild editing, that was what i meant when i used the What ought to be & what is phrase & also when I said instead of Harriet they gave us another thing. You see my good man, word on print (books) are different from movies. In the sense that books gives you that poetic licence to create from your own wealth of imagination, so when what you imagined doesn't in any way bear semblance to what you are seeing as a result of a lot of factors, then cursing becomes inevitable.

I have to admit, i went to far, i was having a movie bad week, in the sense that other movies i saw in the same time frame with Harriet was horrible, thus, my expectation for the movie was way too much. And when my expectations & imagination from what i read, fell short from what i saw, i became rankled & lashed out at the movie.
