mehn some wages hitting some people's akant is almost unfair grin grin grin

the guy grandmama and my grandpapa run one or two na, we just leave everything low-key to avoid break ups here and there tongue

Now I know where you joined bad gang from. cheesy

But seriously the guy is about 35 yrs old now, was never speedy, and has been playing in a slow league.

He is a United fan so hopefully this motivates him to put in all he has.

we obviously didn't get each other so let's move on.

what do you think of your in-law in Man Utd? grin

No we must get each other ooo

Ighalo?

If deal is done, then we have a big striker striker who can play with his back to the goal. But not United standard from previous performance. However, I love to see a Nigerian in United.

I have been crying for the board to sign a different kind of striker to compliment what we have before. We lacked a bit of physicality upfront. Now, they have gone on to get Ighalo on loan which is not a bad idea.

Ighalo is no slouch, he can get into battles with defenders, he can win the 1st and 2nd balls, he can be a proper target man for the wingers, a threat in set play. To me, it is a win win situation for us. We can play in a different way now, when the going gets tough, just send the ball to the big man upfront.

There were quite a lot of big clubs( Barca, Inter, Spurs, Chelsea, Man United, Athletico Madrid etc) looking for a striker this window, it is not easy bringing in quality players in January window. There is always dearth of elite strikers available at this time of the season. I am happy that we are bringing in someone to help atleast.

Yes but we are only paying 100k while his club pays the rest
And the 100k should be his income after tax. Man Utd should be paying him slightly over £181,000/week as gross income.

To the post digger and his supporters: I posted what I posted and I take responsibility for them. I posted those stuff when I was angry with Ole, truth is I believe in him and I always will. I wanted to edit those posts after I calmed down from those losses because I knew someone would dig them out any day I show support for Ole, but I just decided to leave them so the post diggers can feed. So Mr BenNash, you can keep digging and I’ll keep supporting Ole. Of course I may still get angry and criticize Ole and even call for his sack when man utd lose a game they should win, but after the pain of the loss has faded, I will always be back to supporting Ole. tongue

It's better to just keep quiet after a loss then. Rather than jumping from one viewpoint to another. One of those times, you said anyone that still believes Ole is the right man needs to be checked to a remand home, now you're saying you believe in Ole, what does this say about you?

I just decided to highlight four of your posts. You might not be used to this moniker but we've had an history of arguments on my other. First time, you called me all sorts of names on top this Ole matter, then came back to apologize saying you were foolish for believing anything can come from Ole. Few weeks later you started saying another thing. Almost the same way, you'll enter one crazy argument on Barca thread, then come here to complain about how stupid Barca fans are and those ones go see you dey smile believing they have one better Barca female fan. Let me stop here. You can throw abuses at me o, you're free. Cuz your posts on nairaland, naso so small pikin curses full am.

Already agreed personals terms with Athletico Madrid for summer transfer. There's this feeling Ighalo may flourish for us than other big names.

Yeah. The Nigerian feeling.

Fun fact: Ighalo will become the 2nd-joint highest paid player ever in the EPL.
Yaya Toure’s £150k/week deal with Man City is the highest for an African player, in the EPL, to date.

What about other players? I guess their own should be around 500k per week gross income too, idiat

Lol. Calm down. It’s unlikely Ighalo would accept anything lower than £100k after taxes, or else he may sue Utd for breach of contract.

Manchester Uniteddid not have time to enter an official buy option for Odion Ighalo, but unofficially agreed. There was risk of time running out when writing his contract. United and Shanghai will keep in contact and will speak about the buy option next week.
