*QUOTE OF THE DAY* "Obstacles/Nigeria Fulani terrorist are like wild animals. They are cowards but they will bluff you if they can. If they see you are afraid of them...they are liable to spring upon you; but...if you look them squarely in they eye, they will slink out of sight." - *Nnamdi Kanu* |

topboss: Why are you shouting? The op askef if nigerians could boycott I answered my thought. You can disagree with me and have a civil discourse. America will not be deoorting anyone enmass. They need tje people at the bottom of society. I am not sure what your gripe is We dont have political power . All we have is some financial power. Nor much but it counts. If you step into a place like houston you'll see nigerian flags eberyehere letting you know nigerians are welcome. My point is we csn choose other countries to send our kids to school and for our vacations and buying. No be me deny you visa. No take your life mess out on me bros. Abeg easy. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Nigeria should go back to how we were in the 70s - not taking Shit from anybody. In that regard, this travel ban is very welcome. It will correct negative psychology some people have. Most of our youth are completely INFERIOR in their psychology and empty in ideology. Some of them even have Trump as their hero. Trump, at best a rich but unedicated old man jerking around hard core followers in landlocked states in the US is hero to Nigerian youths in 2020. What a shame. He has committed a crime against Iran and is now afraid of countries with large populations of the Shiite sect coming to live in the US and exacting revenge We should be giving the US the middle finger. In the 60s and 70s, Nigerians had a more healthy psychology in international relations. We would burn US flags and vote against them at many fora. We need that same attitude ..especially with this idiot in the White House that four of his own party senators joined with Democrats against to allow witnesses at the impeachment trial. We can retaliate this but the options are not many. One way is to tighten expatriate quotas against US companies, dump US products in favour of Chinese products BUT better still we should work against Trump and donate to Democratic party campaign organization 1 Like 1 Share |

we can as well boycott Facebook, twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Google and may be internet altogether. Nigerian leaders are so unrealistic of our current standing among developed nations of the world, reason for the seeming grandstanding whenever issues like this arises, but how can a nation that cannot provide ordinary portable clean water for it's teeming citizen in this 21st century be taken seriously. We most times bank on our past glory which in itself was short-live to continuously negotiate our worth, but are often surprised when this is not forthcoming as we lack proper understanding of our true state. The prosperity of a nation is not measured or determined by how much of it's wealth is concentrated in few hands, but what percentage of the population have access to this wealth. If we keep waiting until an outsider tells us of the leakages on our roof even in a wet season, it means we are either blind or complacent, and not ready for a change. This is what US is currently doing to us and we should be ashamed of ourselves for it. 4 Likes |

Wiifesnatcher:the ban does not stop politicians travelling overseas. The ban is not on student visa and other visas but on immigrant visa. The problem is we don't read. The ban is not on all Nigerians travelling to the US but on immigrant visa or h1b visa. F1 visa, tourist visa etc is not banned and the elites and politicians are not prevented from travelling the the US 2 Likes |
