When South Africans were killing our brothers and we said, let's boycott their products here, how many people stopped using MTN for that period? How many people boycotted Shoprite?

Sorry, that idea, as good as it sounds won't fly.
We as a nation really need to imbibe a very STRONG sense of NATIONALISM..
You attack one of us you attack all of us..But tribalism has so eaten deep into our psyche that achieving this is almost impossible..Therefore the rest of the world will surely continue to treat us like the scum of the earth...

[s]Bros, blame it on that old man in Abuja. They have no respect for him whatsoever and that's his own doing. Upon all the travelling up and down, we still get banned like the 4th world country he portrayed us to be.

Buhari should only rule the Abokis who thinks like him . His backwardness has put us in this shitty situation. He is worse than any President we've had. He's nothing but a bully. He wants the world to believe he's a noble man but nah, he's far from it and when he leaves, the new administration shall expose his excesses as well.

I don't know what I was thinking to have voted for this kinda human being. Took my dear Nigeria back to stone age.

Confused leader.[/s]

Shut up
You're more stupid than Buhari for trusting him after his big failure in the past,
Buhari can only scam people he's smarter than.

the ban does not stop politicians travelling overseas. The ban is not on student visa and other visas but on immigrant visa. The problem is we don't read. The ban is not on all Nigerians travelling to the US but on immigrant visa or h1b visa. F1 visa, tourist visa etc is not banned and the elites and politicians are not prevented from travelling the the US

Thanks for the enlightenment.

No bro. I wasn't. I literally didn't get that.

If you could rephrase maybe my slow mind can grasp it.

No offense.
you thought i was insulting you aswell
i wasnt
i am literally baffled and astonished, you were incapable of understanding that,
it was just 2 sentences, it all made sense, given the kind of thing you had said earlier
so i will leave you to your thoughts, theres no point.

In 2018, When Donald Trump imposed steel tariffs against Canadian Steel, Many Canadians responded by boycotting made in USA products.

If Nigerians are not good enough to travel to the USA, should we continue to patronize American companies like Apple, Amazon, Hewlett-Packard, Ford, GM Motors, Godaddy, Namecheap, Tom Ford, DKNY, Boeing, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Levi's, Gap, etc?
How many Nigerians can even afford the above mentioned products, Nigerians wearing knock offs since 1914

It is obvious there is no iota of patriotism in most nigerians. By the way, you can still visit the USA you just can't migrate that is what it means.

If we have invested our lifetime on research and innovation rather than religion, we would have been in a position of rejecting US products, but as it stands we are still 599 years behind

how do you expect a country where there's world most radical terrorist to keep entering freely into the US. member of a well trained terrorist groups such as ISWAP or boko-haram can easily bypass their way to the US and render havoc just like Osama bin laden did few years ago. America has never been a careless country and can go any extend to protect their citizens. Nigeria is totally messed with different sect of local and international back up gaining ground everyday year, so the idea of VISA ban to Nigerian is a good precautionary measure against possible reoccurrence of what happened years ago. I hope other European countries will follow suit...there's no hope for this country the only fair hope is secession

This is not a good reason to have a blanket ban in place

when they see our leaders, in those meetings,
if you look closely enough, you can see them supressing laughter
they have zero respect for the president and the other ones
their thinking when they see our leaders is, what does he want now
not what does nigeria want.

Please don't joke with American companies, all the goodies I am enjoying is provided by them,

CAREER wise, international jobs,

I am begging Nigerians to leave them alone,
Please please please,

When they were burning there flags in Abuja, what did Buhari do? Nothing, nothing, nothing.

Americans have bettered so many lives of Nigerians, I am one of them, so are my colleagues,

What Nigeria could not do for us in this life, the United States or America did it for us on a platter of gold.

Anything they do to us, we must endure it, until we have sense,

When I was warning them not to vote for Buhari, they refused,

#Endure in peace,

If not because we have a useless govt

By now the American ambassador would have been summoned to Aso Rock to explain his actions

The president would have called donald trump to ask why he thought this was a good idea to go with

The president would have put out a statement saying the economy interest of all americans in nigeria and africa is at stake by this decision

The worse is also thereatning to ban all visitors from american into nigerian soil too in tit for tat

Something that you will do that even Donald Trump will know that you are serious and you are not a mumu

How can he do it when even the Nigeria embassies in USA n China still has portraits of Goodluck Jonathan as d president or don't d ambassadors oversees everything, when their sites was last updated 2012/2013
