Just rewarding party members and their friends and family

Those houses were built by Fasola but the exorbitant mortgage made people avoid it. Ambode made it more flexible but ordinary Lagosians still couldn't afford the initial payment.
Imagine houses built 7 years ago and nobody is occupying them. I usually see the one at Igando, most of it empty.

I hope there's Keke to take them to markets and work.... Giving them house and having them trek distance without any set alternative to aid transportation is evil......
Trekking is good for your health.

Lagos will no succumb to blackmail. The security and well being of lagosians far outweighs the benefit of any illegal means of transportation

Carry your okada to another state that tolerate the nuisance
Ok, what's the alternative to Okada and keke?
India that is more developed and advanced than Nigeria uses Keke you're here talking trash

Started by Fashola, Tinubu's idea, Sanwolu completed it. How does this matter? Is it not by taxpayer's money?.....So if you become a governor someday you won't complete abandoned project by past administrations because you can't take glory for it?
davodyguy:
Not Sanwoolu's Scheme please.
Project started by Fashola based on Tinubu's template, Ambode abandoned it and Sanwoolu completed the projected already more than 70% done by Fashola/Ambode.

Some people that applied since 2015 are yet to be given allocation till now
Some of the people here applied years ago and not in 2019 that Sanwoolu became governor

The downside of these building design is that they are built without any form of balconies in mind. Knowing fully well that most people especially those on the last floor will need to dry their clothes without having to come downstairs to drag for rope space.

He deserves an accolade because he could have followed his predecessor's lead, who abandoned everything.

Where this estate is on federal road , no Keke or okada on that road , it's banned for almost 10 yrs now, but u can from the front gate of the estate get bus to anywhere u are going in Lagos . No transportation issues on that estate

You're either not informed or you're an APC politician, which will also make you visionless.
There are other factors that contribute to road accident asides reckless driving. What has this visionless govt done about the rest?

I hope people can now understand why Lagos State works with a template where each predecessor hands over to his successor to ensure it does not become a state of abandoned projects, I wish other states can emulate.
I wish my own state can be like this.

He also said the welfare of the State workers would be a priority of his administration, disclosing that he had directed the Ministry of Housing to reserve 10 per cent of the properties developed by the Government for civil servant to keep them committed to the service of the State.
How much is each flat compared to the salary of the civil servants?
How do these two elements compare with Jakande era houseshuh
