mrZENographer:Hey! Don't just quote the bible, we have very serious issues and I bet a lot of people want answers, you left them unanswered and even added more to the confusion with your biblical quotes. As far as I see it, you're ignoring the issues before your eyes. I'm a christian before you start calling me a pagan. Don't just quote the bible and go... |

As a Roman Catholic, all what you've have raised are not issues at all because following what is written diligently in the Bible and based on ancient practices, such issues does not qualify as *controversial* For instance: Abortion is simply murder. How can semen which is alive become dead? When the Bible says: even before you were formed in your mother's womb, I knew you. Remember, all sins begins with a logic. The d3vil used logic to deceive Eve. |

No to Gayism. Gay is a biological disorder that can be treated. They should seek treatment. No to dollbaby & Gay. Man & Woman combination remain the best, they can Ask their parents. No to Abortion except for rape n severe complications. Yes to Baptism, both infant n Adult. Fact is, Infant die n adult die too. Baptism is the Initiation ritual to Christianity.no baptism no Christianity. Either by Immersion or Sprinkling, water is involve. Romans 6vs3-4 or don't you know that all of us who where baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were D4 buried with him thru baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead thru the glory of the father we too may live a new life. No to Tithe, is an old Order law.to be only referenced n not practiced in New testament Order of Christ followers called Christians.2Crth 3vs 9-13, if the Ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. "If what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which last. we are not like Moses. Yes to Politics because we are member of a community. “The easiest way for Evil to thrive in any society, is when acclaim Good Men seat and do Nothing”. After all it is politicians that decide your wages, the price of food in market, the cost of your Transportation. It's a full cycle. |

Oluromantic:Point of correction, an abortion can become a threat to life in case of ectopic pregnancy. This is the reason abortion can be allowed. However, other human violation in regards to sex does not warrant an abortion. For human life is bigger than the shame or the trauma that's accrued to it. [I know a church(name withheld) that says wearing tight(female underwear in place of pant) is a sin. That anything that looks like knicker or trouser whether in or out is sinful for a woman to wear.[/quote]In the Gospel of Matthew On the contrary, according to Mark 9:42 thus says; "Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea." Whatever that can make another man or woman to objectify you sexually is a sin. Most of the revealing clothes women wear are worn to seduce men or that they may appear sexy. What used to be private have now become public. Most women both married and single have gone wield about their private lives. This is typified in the kind of clothes they wear. Some feel like to go naked than being responsible. All in the name of civilization or freedom but they have forgotten that freedom comes with responsibility. From women both young and middle age women wear today, you could see the contour of their private part. We all know that Christ taught to not look at woman lustfully for it is a sin for man to do so (Matthew chapter 5:28). This is not a controversy based on Christian teaching for Christ categorically taught us all that we should follow. I think it is more controversial on the aspect of those who choose what they should hear and what they feel like doing. Today's Christian do not believe in what God is telling them that believe in what they feel like to listen to and how they select the kind of message that I listen to any message that has to do with purity of heart they turn it down. |

Fortissimo502:And this is where the whole issues emanated from, many don't take time to study their Bible except on Sundays, you should love your Bible, which is the oldest book with the latest information with all those debates, it highly unnecessary although baby Christian should learn to take a queue from such information if you love God the father of our lord Jesus Christ . |

mvem:Admiring a woman's beauty without lust in your heart is the same thing as admiring a pretty 6 year old girl. You and I know that 98% of men who admire attractive women are doing it with lust - the desire to taste what they are seeing. |

gentlegenius:98% are going to hell then. How will you look at a matured woman same way you look at a 6 year old girl. To admire the curves and femininity of a woman is human nature but you say it is lusting. Hasn't God made us differently and to say a woman is beautiful is to say you are attracted to her which can eventually lead to you going for her because you like what you see and from there develop a relationship that can lead to Marriage. How is that lusting...Let's be real. Don't you admire a beautiful woman when you see her because she has good feminine characteristics which God has put in place. |

mvem:"If a man looks at a woman to lust after her, then he had already committed adultery in his heart". Bros... I didn't make that statement. Jesus did. Maybe you should argue with him. |
| Re: See 8 Most Controversial Issues In The Church Today by mvem(m): 9:43pm On Feb 02, 2020 |
gentlegenius:A single man/woman can't commit adultery. Adultery has to do with you being married so it is reasonable that it is meant for the married. Why would a married man admire someone sexually that is not his wife and vice versa......moreover the statement looking at a woman lustfully is subjective |

babyfaceafrica:. Did u consulted God before u married him? Did u attracted him by seduction? Many women are the cause of their headache. If ur husband abuse u, don't seek divorce. Take it to God instead. If u fail to suffer for ur sins here on earth, u will suffer for it in hell. |

| Re: See 8 Most Controversial Issues In The Church Today by FarmTech(m): 11:19pm On Feb 02, 2020 |
mvem:. Lust is when u look at someone with sexual thoughts in ur heart. U said "To admire the curves and femininity of a woman is human nature". But remember that human nature according to the bible, is sinful. U can't make heaven with human nature. |
