Me that love uber and use both app.
I haven't switched n registered my new car to uber yet, too lazy now. But i did for bolt.

I managed to gross close to 100k last week on bolt alone. The interesting thing is the destination shown before u accept. Now my activity score is 68% ;Das i became too selective.
Still doesn't stop request from popping in.....
Lemme do bolt alone for 3 weeks n see

Boss why r u ppl like dis, me that have said I won't stress myself this year and you are tempting me with weekly earning. Kind of done with uber for now.

Please I have a question when does uber or taxify take their cut? Is it included in the money that they showed you as what you've earned?

Guys help a newbie.... My new Uber driver say it will take him 3days to register my car on Uber....why 3days?

How long does it take to do inspection n register on Uber?

Also once the car is used by driver, who should take care of car repairs? Car owner or driver?

Bros sorry ooh but this like putting the cart before the horse. Asking all of these questions simply means you didn't carry out a proper business feasibility and plan b4 you ventured into the business, else, you won't be here asking who does repairs or services or maintenance or inspection.

Anyways, its not too late, go back to your drawing board and map out your plans very well b4 I guys go ahead with any other step.

To me I'd advice you do your servicing and repairs all by yourself.

Good luck!!

How much does he remit?

The driver handles minor repairs like 5k or so below while you do repairs above that amount and also the servicing of the car. I wont even advise you that the driver should handle the servicing, he will skip servicing and use bad oil to save cost.

Driver remit 25k weekly, the plan is driver drop moni for servicing monthly, while I carry out the servicing with my mechanic.

To get the best out of this deal.

Let him pay 25k(camry)
You take care of servicing, maintenance and all repairs even if it is battery head.

I see the market rebounding soon and a upward review of remmitance by car owners if the ban on keke and okada persists. Until then, To get the best out of this deal. Stick to the above.

There is a way the world works. Make bread for now amd ask questions later. How you mix the flour and how you heat the fire is not important for now. Ask questions later.

The riders you pity and call common man, go to there shops, offices or parastatals in government and get a reality check. They won't think twice to throw you under the bus and near the tyre for maximum impact. Thats the system.

lol funny guy

You made sense but then again this is the market playing out the demand and supply curve. The only influence in this situation is GOVERNMENT policy which is creating a shift in the market. Throw out the idea of haters hating on you bro and hang in there tight. You will be good.

Government is like a mini god of the people, sometimes their policies could be terrible when you at the receiving end. Regardless, the market goes on as MONEY is the true GOD of the Government and the truest religion of the people.

The assassination of Jamal Kashogggi has stylishly been swept under the carpet and forgotten, You know why? Trump don't want to mess with the Saudi Oil Money and and also don't want to ruin his personal business ties with the Sauds. My point is the UN (with the backing of the US) would have brought to book any world leader found guilty in such a high profile murder but it's quite funny how the Saudis are untouchable.

Bringing that home; The lagos state government has the power to do and undo. The new government policy will tilt the advantage to the ehailing industry till the policy is no more effective (during election period) but good thing because, before that election period riders would have already been accustomed to ehailing service.

So for now, I would suggest no app company increase fare for the sake of high volume patronage and slightly increase fare towards the end of the year when it wouldn't be noticeable and people won't be able to turn their back on them.

Drivers are now cashing out. No more complains. What most people don't know is that there is a balance of evil and good in the universe. Another mans fall, is another man's rise. While you are in traffic praying for it to end and save you fuel, the gala, soft drinks, water and plantain chips sellers are cashing out. What is there prayer to God? Let this traffic be as long as berger to Nnewi. Because more traffic equals more product sales.

I have a lot of tips to share on my experience in this life and thats why I have succeded to some extent when my eyes were opened. But its obvious I will stop sharing so that some people will remain in there fools paradise.

When government closed borders and local rice sellers were cashing out, who shouted foul? Have you ever wondered why you will eat 200 naira rice nowadays and you will still be wondering where the food went because its so small? And you have to spend more money to be full? Who pitied you? When will the black man ever have sense?

There are less than 8 billion people on earth. America manufactures almost 10 to 12 billion bullets per year. Research this vital info. Who do you think those bullets will be shot at? Thin air? If not wars, how will the bullets sell? You still don't get it do you?

How come surge came back same day the green batmans went? When I was baking under the hot sun and the green green batmans and spidermans were hovering all over the city cashing out, who pitied me? When drivers were sleeping at Northwest and admiralty like animals all in a bid to catch up.... who pitied them?

There is a way the world works. Make bread for now and ask questions later. How you mix the flour and how you heat the fire is not important for now. Ask questions later.

The riders you pity and call common man... Please go to there provision shops, mechanic shops, fuel stations, offices or parastatals in government and get a reality check. They won't think twice to throw you under the bus and near the tyre for maximum impact. Thats the system.

Bros I was just going to rant about battery issues now. I hope you have gotten a better battery.

Last week Sunday I borrowed a guy my car battery to start his car and I have not had peace since then with my battery. Now I understand Why the guy spent two hours at crown estate car park without anyone to borrow him battery (I know he spent nothing less than two hours because I saw him on my way to Awoyaya, coming back he was still there, took another trip to Abijoh from sky mall, he was still there)

The following day my battery started misbehaving, I used my neighbors battery to start it and went out. Going back home at night the thing just went off in the middle of the road before Jakande first gate, called LCC towing service to come tow it off the road while waiting a guy stopped to ask what’s up, I told him battery issue, he was reluctant to remove his battery but later gave me. I left, following day I took it to total sangotedo to charge, it has been there since until yesterday when I went for it, got home, the battery can’t even crank the engine.

I just got home from where I went to price a new battery now, 75amps Everstart is 27k while chinko is 23k. My battery that got spoilt us just two months old cry

If your battery is bad and you know it, don’t hit the road!

E-hailing stakeholders need to join the lobby of LASG to make the ban permanent and total for all areas of the state.
