The news said it was reducing the training years from 6 to 3, so I assumed it meant the training years meant for university students. Hence the panic of being unqualified. You probably a paramedic or nurse and thought I was calling you unqualified- but don’t be too offended, I hadn’t read the full news.

I am not a Visa officer but personally I think it's fine, there no correlation between your length of Visa and your mother visiting Visa... UK is a main tourist hub so with or without a child she might continue to visit even if her child doesn't live here

Having a child here was not mandatory for her Visa to be issued, it's more like a nice to have

Yes. It’s perfectly logical. She will most likely get it if she didn’t use up her entire 6 months with no break.

I remember one time at the airport, the border people complained that an old woman (clearly Nigerian), spent her entire 6 months here, went back for like a month and then returned with another visa. The border agent was acting like he wanted to send her back, wondering how she got the visa. I thought the border people were being cruel but I understood where they were coming (apparently, they weren’t convinced that she was visiting since she stayed the full 6 months).

Maybe it’s just over-do that was worrying them sha.

I didnt even see your comment... but this does happen. I know someone personally whose mum stayed 6 months then , went to naija for a month came back to UK stayed 3 months went back and came a month later. They didnt allow her enter the third time .

I'm a sponsored postgraduate student currently in the UK with my spouse and a child.
My mum just retired and i want her to visit us here to chill a little and also serve as a treat for work well done.
I intend to sponsor the trip, meaning the fund for the trip is in my account and she's got about 100k in her personal account.
Now my question;
1. is it okay for a student to sponsor such trip?
2. should my spouse who is on a dependent visa sponsor the trip.
3. or should she (my mum) sponsor the trip although the funds will be moved from my account to hers

The main questions to ask yourself are?

- Do I have a job?
- Does my wife have a job?
- Would our joint income, adequately cater for baby, father, mother, MIL, bills etc, without looking like financial suicide?
- The £200 in your mother's account is crayfish money and cannot play any part in the application, not unless you meant £100K........
- You want to feed her account with funds, like trying to force feed a little baby? (automatic visa refusal).
- Do you have a rental agreement or mortgage deed(on an accommodation that would not present like overcrowding)?
- At the moment are you chopping overdraft or account in minus, on a regular?
- You got 6 months bank statements, to track and justify your thick chest?

Questions like this, determines a successful application or failed application.........

Good day all... i will be travelling soon to the UK, Egyptair and Etihad are the airlines on my mind.... sooo, i wanna get reviews or advice on the best airline to follow based on:

1. Layover, is anyone gonna lodge the flyer in a hotel or you wait in the lounge or something?

2. Inflight entertainment, which one gives better food and entertainments like drinks, cable sockets, screen for movies?

3. Comfortability, which one has better leg space as am pretty tall?

4. Baggage allowance, you know what i mean ba?

Yes, without following the normal process it is possible to migrate to Canada, from the UK.

Without following the normal process, the migrant will see Canada, breathe Canadian air. That’s all.
The migrant will be on the next available Plane back to base.
