Why turning this thread to a discussion ground instead of the real purpose

What is your Salary?
What is your Position?
What is your Qualification?
How many year/s experience?
The organisation or company name?

This will help employers know the salary of different professions and what to offer new employees, and will also help employees know their supposed earning. Thank you

See the hustle of a worker as described below! Some of you have jobs but no work, is what it seems to me!

Those of you earning well should please educate those who aren't. Education and smartwork usually pays.

Oh. And sorry I can't say how much I earn.
I am too ashamed!

It is well o..

come out and join the movement for the disintegrating of that British company called Nigeria, that's the solution to ur better life

What you’re talking about is a palliative and not a solution because that’s not even the problem. The artisans who make all these money are often self employed with much needed skills. Getting all the qualifications in the world without adding value to society is useless. People with first degrees have to understand that this is just basic and they need to make themselves relevant then they can get better pay.

Let's bring the Salary scale in Nigeria by the companies and organizations. Hide your identity please, by not adding personal info.

What is your Salary?
What is your Position?
What is your Qualification?
How many year/s experience?
Organization or company name?
Lastly, tell us your location/state?

This will help employers know the salary of different professions and what to offer new employees, and will also help employees know their supposed earning. Thank you

If I may ask, why haven't you gotten your HND?

This is one of the problems with our people, they're always about certificates.

If he tells you how many Bsc and Msc holders are below him you'd be shocked.

You don't know the skills and experiences he's got.

Monthly Salary : N860,000 (with bonus); N660,000 (without bonus).

Monthly Side Hustle: N0.00 - N500,000.

Years of experience: 7

Qualifications: B.Sc & M.Sc (Electrical/Electronic)

Role: Senior software engineer

Industry: Information Tech

*I can't disclose company.

Seeing ppls Salary up there sent shivers down my spine.

As at 2014 I didn't have any job. I picked up software development downloaded several video tutorials online and I started working. I dedicated more than 11 hours daily to this.
I would wake up 6 a.m. as if I was going to the office. Gradually improved and started building apps.
Then in 2016 January I got my first job in Lagos as a junior Dev. My salary was 120k. I learnt very fast on the job and improved my skills.

Within a year, I got inside also that paid me 250k alongside my current job. I also got promoted on my current job so my salary became around 180 k.

Then in 2018 I got another job with another company that was paying me over 500k. I kept improving and I was receiving promotion till my salary hit what it currently is well I kept my side job.

But even with my current job plus side also I still believe in entrepreneurship, so I started up my own company but I'm still funding it to make it profitable.

Wow..I don't doubt the salaries quoted here because as a lawyer duly called to bar,i was getting N10k salary at my first job.I quit law practice some years later to face my business.

Today i can afford to pay my ssce/OND shop assistant more than that(20-25k) including other bonuses like 13th month salary when the year ends.

I tell people getting educated in Nigeria is just for the sake of having a degree and bragging rights of "I am a graduate".There are not enough good paying jobs to go round the large number of graduates being churned out yearly by our universities and polytechnics.

.
I will definitely ensure my daughter learns a skill or trade, in addition to going to school. It's those artisans and workmen we look down on that are making good money.A POP installer charged us N36000 as his workmanship fee for screeding and skirting done on our living room wall,2 door panels and our passage. While he was doing our job,he had 2 other jobs at hand that he sent his boys to do, of which one was a big job of doing POP on the ceiling of a duplex.
.
Now calculate how much he makes in a month. This is someone from Togo who isn't even an ssce holder. He is married, living well and has kids that are all well cared for.
.
If a good paying job isn't forthcoming,It is wise to dump that your certificate for some time and hit the streets. Its far better than collecting 15k after graduating from a university.

Learn fashion design, welding, Painting, Electric fence installation, Hair dressing , Catering etc They are the big men in town o,forget suit and tie jobs for a while, many can only pay peanuts.

.
As you Hustle, you can still be applying for jobs that pay well.Maybe one day, luck may smile on you.

My sister I don't know you but I just love you.....God you spoke out what my heart has been crying
