I will appreciate any input on this question, especially how we came about the name Jesus Christ, considering that early Bible release does not refer to the Messiah as Jesus Christ, for example, the first King James version released in 1611, also, the English invented and started using the letter J in the year 1640, so how did we come about the name of the Messiah to be Jesus Christ?

Till this day, only the names of the Christain God (YHWH or Yahweh), Yeshua Hamashiach and other bible figures have their names completely changed in the history of mankind in which the new names given to them have got no similarity to the original names. None of the pronunciation sound like the real name including that of the Messiah.

Not just that of the Messiah, a lot of God's books were tampered with, some were completely removed and corrupted, for example, Genesis 5:24 says that "Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more because God took him away". He was so faithful that he didn't die but God took him away, how come the book he wrote that contained all the visions that God showed him, the first coming and second coming of the Messiah, how the world will be judged etc no book in the bible exposes the kingdom of darkness as the book of Enoch, but the book was corrupted, several versions such as Coptic, Ethiopian and Slavic translations were created to the point that people are being warned not to read it.

I am currently preparing for an exam so, I won't be able to write much about the few things I know, but what I can tell you is that the Earth belong to the devil for now until the second coming of the Messiah, even the Messiah referred to him as the prince of this world (John 14:30).

Please try and build a personal relationship with the Father Elohim/Yahweh, follow the Messiah, ask him to reveal Himself to you and show you what the truth really is as nobody is able to confirm that except those who wrote the books, or the one who translated them and made changes.

when I pray to Jesus Christ my reference is to the one that died for us all at the cross.
it is not the name but the person behind the name that matters or you refer directly to
