GOOD!!!!!!

We need to put Lagos state in good shape.
The people are even worse than the government sometimes. People just do things anyhow.
Build houses anyhow. Throws trash on the streets and gutters anyhow.

Lagos state needs to demolish many structures.
Our street roads are too narrow.
Our highways too are too narrow.
There should be AT LEAST 4-4 LANES on our highways...
People build houses anyhow without sense.
Imagine a greedy landlord building six 3-bedroom flats on half plot of land WITHOUT A SINGLE PARKING SPACE FOR VEHICLES AND THE FOOLISH GOVERNMENTS won't even do anything about it.
They will latter be parking on the roads and be constituting nuisance.

We need to seriously organize and DEPOPULATE LAGOS.
IF you are not okay with the arrangements, GO BACK TO YOUR STATE.
Go and question your useless governors what they use states allocations to do.

This could have been done with sense. I personally don't like Okada's or Keke's but they provide much needed jobs and ease of moving around. In the UK by 2035 they will phase out diesel and petrol powered cars. If you look around parking lots you will notice charging ports for electronic cars that means they have a 15 year transition period. They didn't just wake up one morning and issued a ban.I know some may argue that the law has been in place since Tinubu it wasn't just properly implemented . Well that shouldn't be our problem it's rest on government to make new policies and implement them. Imagine during Tinubu he said ok by 2020 Okadas and Keke's will be phased out. That will have been about 20 years transition plan give or take. Things would have been a lot different than it is now. It's a shame how the Governor is handling this. I thought he was a smart man.

Not just safety and security, also severe traffic snarl in Lagos metropolis. But, Mr. Governor, please identify genuine Lagosian okada and Keke operators affected by the ban and rehabilitate them or offer palliatives. None indigenes should go to their respective zones or another business area. I support the ban. Only that it was without countermeasures.

U are a car owner or ur workplace is close to ur house

In a day one or two okada may have accident and two or three people gets involved but when One ferry gets accident not less than sixty people goes to the grave, on the road danfo and other buses take not less than two thousand five hundred people to hospital daily, and how unlucky some may be, between forty five to sixty percent of them goes straight to morgue. God help us, Okada is not the worse.

Everybody gather here...story, story...once upon a time...there was a time there was no okada or Keke in Lagos...and we lived happily ever after. THE END! God bless Sanwoolu. Now he should do fast and ban agberos too cheesy

When was that? Which year? How was the employment rate then? What was Lagos state population then?

Common sense is not common.

@Neddstark,oh because I expressed my opinion about a government policy view you went hysterical with a curse. You're pathetic!!! I won't curse you back, because I know no one can curse the one God has blessed. I'm also well aware that there is no curse without a cause.

I stand by my word. You're just plain insensitive. You shouldn't be in any area of leadership and making selfish decisions

You actually shouldn't because leadership is about making though and difficult decisions regardless of public feelings and sentiments

It is not about public feelings, but you are concerned abut livelihood as if your safety and security is beneath your livelihood.

Again, you shouldn't be in any leadership position because you can not make though and difficult decision for the good of all.

Leadership is about being humane you cock. How does Opay or Gokada affect your security or are you reasoning through your rectum? Your thinking is so disgusting. If you said this in front of me and you were from my tribe I will spit on you. Gush you disgust me. Dont quote me again.

Look at this childish thing throwing tantrums... lol

Again, you can not and should never be in any leadership position because you obviously can not lead or make though and difficult decisions.

God bless you Mr Governor

Security and safety of Lagosians outweighs the inconvenience of some selfish people that want a transportation means that will drop them at the entrance of their house

How is Lagos safer now that millions have lost their little means of livelihood overnight? Think about it bro? What then is the role of the Police, Amotekun and even NURTW if pressure cannot be brought to bear on these forces to regulate and sanitise the operations of the kekes and okadas instead of their outright ban?

Second question with the introduction of more buses, won't the already congested road network be put under more pressure?

1. Lagosians are safer because of less injurious and deadly accidents and destruction of lives and properties.

2. Lagosians are safer because they have less unidentified and unknown folks from unknown locations/countries.

3. They did not ban Okada, they only restrict them from certain parts of the city.

1 saved life is worth more than 1 million livelihood.

Out of difficulties comes solutions, play your part and stop complaining.
