The letter must be from the doctor in Nigeria who is treating you and knows your medical condition, so he can recommend treatment in the US. It is unlawful for a doctor in the US to give any medical advice or suggestion without physically seeing the patient first. Once you receive a letter from your doctor (in your country), then you contact a doctor in the US that will "accept" you.

After which what will happen? Are you guys still on and open to foreigners per birth tourism?

Yes. We are still seeing patients. Although we do have fewer Nigerian patients at this moment, the new rules did not affect other countries that provide 5-10 year Visas. These people process their Visas without the sole purpose of having their baby in the US, they are patients from countries in Latin America and frequent the US regularly.

Nigerians may want to explore getting a Visa before they are actually pregnant, in other words, not applying for a Visa with the sole purpose of having their baby in the US or applying for a medical Visa.

Or you mean they obtain their visas well in advance, with the intent of using it for childbirth later - knowing full well that they are protected by an active Hispanic lobby. Or simply cross the border illegally and show up at hospitals in El Paso?

Frankly the childbirth issue isn’t a Nigerian problem... it’s a purely a Hispanic problem... and Nigerians are the unfortunate collateral damage. Hispanics can simply disobey the law and walk across the border while Nigerians have to stand behind humiliating visa interviews. Thanks for ruining it for the rest of us.

Twood , when and why did you suddenly become so soft on your sterns on Nigerians going for childbirth in US?

So it's all about citizenship all this while and not that Nigerians are so corrupt.........

Now I understand ........well done...

Given that Juarez, Mexico is the border city to El Paso, the great majority of its citizens have a passport and Visa since living close to the US is a big convenience in terms of all other goods and services not related to medical. Among these citizens with Visas, there is a small percentage that has the financial solvency to actually pay to have their baby in the US, and we are happy to help them. Contrary to what you believe the vast majority of Visa holding people do not have their babies in the US nor do they apply for Visa for that purpose.

This is not a Nigerian or Hispanic problem, this is a racial problem. We are all equal and nobody chooses where they are born.

If one has sensible advice for people seeking for advice, give.

You can criticize my comments but at least give advice.

If you don’t have sound advice and you think screenshotting people’s comments and sending to whoever you want to send will help your own future then do what you need to do.

It’s always funny when you meet Nigerians abroad they act like they’re the ones that own the country you met them in. Some of them will be asking questions just so they can find out your status and report you.

Screenshot as much of my comments as you wnat.

Safe delivery and safe trip to all.

Anyone who wants to enter US, I pray you enter.

Nigerians are corrupt... the Hispanics are much worse and more brazen. That was the whole point... but of course I trust you to deliberately misrepresent the point. Plenty of Nigerians obtain US citizenship here in Texas every day, legally... without lying and covering up pregnancies at border posts.

I’m sure CBP would love to know where those caravans magically come from since you suggest they don’t exist.

This is NOT Nigerian, Hispanic or any other race and nation problem. In America we have all colors, races and religions. This is a National Security problem. We want our citizens not only born Americans but also growing up as Americans. There are many countries using American Birth, then selling American Passports or educating American born kids to hate America, there we have bombers and terrorists traveling back and forth with American passports. Our government wants to stop it, to protect our country and our citizens.

This exactly is the problem. Honestly a kid born here then raised elsewhere has no real ties to America except for the passport. The mentality is different and allegiance is different as well. I have friends who are Americans, raised by Nigerian parents in the US and those born to Nigerian parents in the US and raised in Nigeria and allegiances are clearly different for both groups.

Sometimes ago, a American boy born to Mexican parents and raised in Mexico was arrested by CBP officials somewhere in the Mexican-USA border and they didn’t believe he was American (despite showing his BC), because he didn’t speak English. I was mad on his behalf but the way he was talking when interviewed showed he had no real ties to America except for being born here.

Look at El Chapo’s twins, they’re US citizens. Where do you think their allegiances lie? Infact, the matter tire person.

So how come you always emphasize on the few corrupt Nigerians as "all Nigerians" .

And when you say Nigerians are corrupt agreed no quarrel, but can you allow those people that want to become citizens of your most Honest country in the universe legally to do that without mind painting them corrupt?

I’m surprised that this forum allows for Twoods blatant racist remarks without any type of repercussion or banning. I know that signaling out of races as Twoods does regularly would not go unnoticed if this forum was based in the USA, so I’m hard pressed to understand why its allowed here since Twoods is basically insulting our “corrupt” race in our very own country.

I have to admit that we may not all be corrupt, but it does look like we are all cowards for allowing Twoods to express him/herself about us in this manner.

Freedom of Speech/Expression is the 1st Amendment of the Constitution of the United States. This does not mean racism is tolerated or accepted.

Yes i do and i keep supporting anybody who is not afraid to call a spade a spade no matter how harsh it comes out.

I'm shocked that many of you here are surprised about the ban, many of you here supported all sorts of dodgy ideas of getting US visa and anybody that speaks against such idea will be called ITK and holy than thou, now the chicken has come home to roost.

You abuse the term “racist”. In this very same thread, on this very page is someone asking another Nigerian to cover up her pregnancy and find a “lenient” POE so she can sneak into the country to have her baby. When you say not all Nigerians are corrupt, I think the question you should answer is who isn’t?

We all have freedom of speech my dear... banning people who share a different opinion to yours is what corrupt authoritarians do. What you have left isn’t the truth but an echo chamber of sycophants. Good luck.
