You can say that about pretty much every state in Nigeria.

How does building stadiums in the Yeast help the poor, illiterate Yeebos?

How does okada ban help the poor in Lagos?

How do statues in imo prevent poverty?

You're the most stupid one. What's the essence of those flyovers when there is no job most people in there living in adjectively poverty. Government at all state level should shift attention to the creation of jobs no bridge, flyovers and all that shit. Come to think of it if the money was spent on creating jobs, wouldn't you too go to kano to work? But now that it's flyovers, what people of West stand to benefit? You don't have any sense In you boy

You need to ring this in their ears more and more. One problem we Nigeria's populace may have is in the unnecessary blowing of trumpets for this governors. Are flyovers the most viable need-based project for a state teeming with high poverty rate, illiteracy and lack of employment. Just as the president thinks that infrastructure without employment, security, power and w business friendly environment can built Nigeria, people like Ganduje keep building flyovers inside poverty and illiteracy and because the flyovers they build will shield the millions of dollars of kickbacks they've received from the project. We now say one bad leader is better than another bad leader. It doesn't matter what kind of thief a thief is, a thief is a thief and we should stop celebrating these non-thinking thieves.

Speaking objectively, let's criticise any governors that embark on projects which are not need-based and it doesn't matter what part of the country they come from or their political affiliation. The more we keep seeing their works as a kind of charity, the more we'll praise them for the wrong thing, the more they'll feel like they are gods. The Nigerian state at this time doesn't need politicians who will just emabrk on projects to please the people, it needs executives, planners, policymakers who will make need-based policies and project that'll have the most direct impact on the citizenry. If a governor is not getting to that level, let him be criticised and their is no hiding under flyovers and roads like the president is hiding under 2nd Niger bridge and Lagos-Ibadan railway while the nations boils in insecurity and unemployment.

As if ur leaders have ever made any serious developmental strides! Even the foolish one that is a minister was a propaganda governor. Mention any of ur governors from 1999 to date that can match Peter Obi, David Umahi. Just one. Useless buffoon

I don't know why Kano focuses on flyovers so much when they have countless number of beggers

So, they should not progress, they should not develop, they should not build infrastructures or create jobs just because they have beggers?

These backward and shallow reasonings are heartbreaking and embarrassing sha.

When your governors commission wheelbarrow and share kerosene, we don't see you people ask questions or say a word, but as soon as they show pictures of projects in other parts of Nigeria, you all of a sudden have questions.

I think Kano is getting overpopulated, maybe that's why all these enormous flyovers are needed. I hope he's building people alongside cos "omo tako, lo ma gbe ile ta ko ta". It means the children we failed to train will eventually destroy the houses we built with the money we suppose to have used to train them. It also means the Al-majiri's that we ignore today may eventually become Boko Haram that will destroy those flyovers in the future.

Willie is working. Cool

This is what they celebrate in their village, useless governors sharing kerosene, wheelbarrow and cement bowl.

They are bitter and sad over flyover in Kano, but they are celebrating and shouting amaka over dusty and dirty uncompleted village road..

How sad..

The Sultan of Sokoto has been crying for the governors to wake up that the entire North is a ticking time bomb. Didnt the Sultan see the flyovers and bridges yes called them out for doing nothing to solve the main trouble ravaging the North.

People are hungry and jobless, flyovers are good but that is not what the poor masses yearn for.

Kano is a commercial centre with a lot of business opportunities. You won't know that till you reside or visit regularly. The governor in as much as I don't like him much doesn't mean I won't give him a Hi5 when I see a good vision from him. Poverty rate is low in kano unlike in other northern States.
