stevmatt15: these are the very intelligent questions I wanted to ask as well. everyone is just saying preserve preserve. do you know what it takes to preserve a wild animal? feeding it chunks of meat everyday to stay fit and healthy, people wey never see 3 square meal chop wan dey find 'chunk of meats' for animal. just take a look at the lion that was 'preserved' in one of the zoos in the north. lion wey even lean pass ekuke. is that one lion? if not for the big head, I almost confused it for the boerboel dog. boerboel dogs are even healthier than Nigerian 'wild animals' 4 Likes |

This is very cruel. Don't know when the relevant authorities in this country would step in to end this shame. Almost all noticeable wild animals in Nigeria have gone extinct, while countries like South Africa and Kenya are making billions of dollars annually by preserving their wild life. |

Jh0wsef: If the government wants to help They should pass an information that if such wild animals Been caught, they should be taken to the state government, and it must not be a mandatory or compulsory law to handover such to government, but any farmers that do hand it to government for preservation should be rewarded handsomely. Just simple things other countries does. A farmer can choose to eat the wild animals he caught or get paid by giving it to the government, the zoo. Or museum 1 Like |
