These are the different names traceable to the APC Deputy Governor in Bayelsa that led to Supreme Court disqualification of the governor.
He bore these names at different stages of his life.
Mr Degi-Eremienyo’s name was written as Degi Biobara in his primary school certificate.
The documents from his secondary education bore Adegi Biobarakumo, as his name.
While that of his university education had Degi Biobarakuma as his name.
Also his MBA certificate had Degi Biobarakuma Wangaha as the name of the same person.
As the Deputy Governor-Elect he bore
Mr Degi-Eremienyo.

Apc should not absolve themselves from this court judgement why didn't they check properly before they went on to present him to inec as one of their candidate? This supreme court judgement might also be affecting his seat at the senate.

How many Waec results does he use?

Future is really pregnant. Many ppl still need to do affidavit. If you bear your maternal grand dad's name in pry school and ur father later came to claim you, then u change yr name to his, u need to go for affidavit to avoid this case.

Lyon will never forgive this man!

Bitter truth... what just happened today In bayelsa is big lesson for those that are changing name I. Every stages of their life. You are deceiving nobody, but yourself
tolufase:
The publication of the change of name cost less the 5k. Nothing stops him from chosen preferably names out of these numerous name and apply for a change of name. But he was too daft to understand the implication of these numerous names while contesting for the deputy governor of the state. The lesson must be learned by anybody who uses different names at various stages of his/her life.

Often times it is not forgery.

When I entered university, the jamb that gave me admission was filled by someone(those days u drop ur vital information at a cyber cafe and come pick ur slip the next day). He rearranged my name, i had 2 use it 4 post UME till NYSC. I went 2 court 2 swear affidavit reconciling all the names I’ve ever written in any document.
TheTrueSeeker2:
Only one explanation can be given to his different choice of identity..

Forgery....!!!

Meanwhile the same person that did former Minister Kemi's NYSC Certificate may have done that of this Degi.
He should be handed over to the Police or better still he should hand himself over for investigation.

Apart from his names, his very life may'd also been forged...

Only a foolish man will believe anything from a PDP stooge like the OP. The only thing needed to reconcile all the name from the document the OP listed is a sworn affidavit from any law court in Nigeria so how is that a problem worth nullifying a gubernatorial election over ?

. You are fool by reasoning like this, what stop him all these while from swearing affidavit, he is a case fogery , what did the electoral act say, he only pulled his governor down, you people like your party chairman oshiomole plays to the gallery, you know the truth but your brain has been refiomated by sentiments

. Are you arguing with This guy, don't you know him?, He is a well known APC bigot, he never say the truth, if you don't know him, just mark that name and go through his comments, you will understand what I mean, no sensible person listen to him because he always bend issues to favour APC

At different stage in life there might be need to change name but the most important thing is to swear an affidavit or publicly change it via newspaper publication which does not cost more than 30k. Funny enough TB Joshua pointed to governor elect that the man is an Obstacle.

Nigeria is indeed a shithole country.

This is what a simple security clearance of each candidate by the DSS could have solved.

No security agency in Nigeria actively looks into histories of political office contenders in Nigeria.

Political parties should also have an internal security apparatus or working committee to look into these kind of things to avoid embarrassments like this

Did he swear the affidavit? Is it PDP that will do that one for him too? Besides time is of essence. I hope you know he couldn't have gone to swear that affidavit while the matter was in court because it had become subject of litigation. Rather he ought to have had such affidavit at the time of his nomination and submitted it to INEC along with his documents/qualifications to regularise the discrepancies.

Legal issues have clear procedures that must be complied with.

You're the foolish man here. He didn't swear any affidavit to reconcile the documents so i don't see why you're so pained.
