rinw:Pull out to where? I have been looking at Companies like Piggyvest and Cowryrise that give out 15% a year with payment upfront, I cannot guess how they are able to achieve such high-interest rates in these times, they say they because they have huge funds they negotiate well with investment houses like AIICO and Meristem, but even these investment houses don't give such rates, I really do not understand |

Guys, I don't know if you guys are experiencing this stupid deduction from Stanbic mmf o. The interest is very low and they are deducting anyhow. Not up to a month and they have deducted plenty money from my small interest. Please house, is there anything I need to do to stop this nonsense? Or something I need to know? It's getting too much. They're deducting almost /more than they give people help me |
| Re: Mutual Funds by freeman67: 7:12am On Feb 14, 2020 |
ainadamilola:How do you come to the conclusion that they have been deducting from your interest.? I believe what they have been doing that you see as deductions is actually reinvestment of the interest for you. To understand what is actually happening with your account/fund you will need to monitor your account daily for a while. Forget where they write interest. Write down the your main balance and subtract your previous balance every week/business day. When you do this for a while you will discover that they have not been deducting. |

reservd:That might be the case. I only used my customer ID number in the narration without adding my full name, as that is the way I had always done the narration before now, although I also sent an evidence of payment by mail to them on same day as the transfer, which they acknowledged. I only just got to know from gabby18's post that the process had changed, I must have missed that memo somehow. Anyway, I have called and messaged them, they said they are working on resolving the issue. I hope the resolution is done promptly. |

Suggestion: If your risk tolerance is not too low and can cope with volatility associated with stocks. Now that rates are low you can take advantage of the stock market. It’s earning season already. You can buy fundamentally sound stocks with good dividend tendencies. You can get dividend yields as high as 12% or more. NB: Do your due diligence. |
