Let’s be honest Valentine's Day isn't about men. It's about lavishing love on women. Women! Women! Women!

Throughout today, everything was smooth between Men & Women. The ladies who are behaving like Crack heads suddenly started behaving themselves, forming "I have missed you Kelechi". "You have forgotten me".

Why is that GIRLFRIENDS or Wives never complain of being Women when Valentine period is fast approaching in Nigeria?
Have you guys noticed that at this period you will see NO SINGLE FEMINIST THREAD. NO SINGLE THREAD COMPLAINING OF MEN HERE.

You usually see Women making complaints on Nairaland like
(1) It is hard being a Woman in this Nigeria.
(2) Men are oppressing us.
(3) Women are always marginalized, we are always playing second fiddle.
(4) We want equal rights yen yen yen.

BUT when It’s valentine, every where will be Quiet as Dove.

GIRLFRIENDS & Wives that have been waiting to change their phones since last year but don’t have money to buy will simply have a chance.
This is the period where iPhone sellers at Computer Village sell the most, Gift cards, Gift baskets. Wines & all.

If Giving of Gifts & iPhones was removed from this valentine, Women would not even celebrate this Shit! because they know It's about what they can get & not what they give.
If valentine was just a day to profess love to the Woman of your heart, Women won’t regard it.

Anyway to cap it all, the months of February & March record the highest rate of sales in the section of pregnancy tests grin.
