Chukwueze entered the fray on 76 mins and have created a chance, made 1-2 key passes and has been pretty involved. Villarreal lead 2-1 and they will climb to sixth if it stays like this. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

I understand you only know much about football and quite not much interested or knowledgeable about other areas like economics, politics etal sometimes some discussions here are motivated by politics and others so better you see it in that context or back off. |

Why do you delight in mocking our players at every turn in the name of trying so hard to be funny? Or is this not the Super Eagles thread again? Is Goals and assists the only reports that must be dropped on Nigerian lads here? Think again man. Reports go beyond Just Goals and Assists. Chukwueze created two good chances and made 2-3 key passes, won fouls in the attacking third all within his 14-15mins+ cameo. That is more than good enough to report and is certainly a norm here. So Biko stop your subtle downplay of our Naija lads. If na Haaland now... You go carry am for head. Haaland that had no chances created, no key pass, no great moment in that Leverkusen game..... Meaning when he is not scoring or assisting, he is useless!!! I recall Osimhen also didn't score or assist in a Ligue 1 game but was among the top 5 performers that day on both sides! That is a player who is not useless when he is not scoring or assisting. So no dey yarn anyhow ooo... Osimhen na Real Beast. Haaland na beast but Osimhen na another kind of Beast entirely. The Young Ultimate Beast machine. Meanwhile, I still dey wait for your "fruitless" Ujah to prove you right ooo... Since My Own "fruitful" Nacho dey prove me right... elyte89: 13 Likes 3 Shares |

elyte89: And so? Osimhen also hit the ground running and bagged the Ligue 1 equivalent in Month 2. He also won the Lille player of the month twice (first and second month- August and Sept). He was also EA Sports' First Ligue 1 POTM card upgrade for the 2019/2020 season. Guy... We can do this all day. Respect that lad Osimhen. He is up there with Ronaldo, Werner, Salah etc among the best/highest match winners in European football currently. How many match winners has Haaland? The two lads are special... So leave it as that. Haaland is not better. Full stop! 12 Likes 3 Shares

Even Moffi didn't wait time. He won Kortrijk's POTM in his very first month. Person wey dem just sign on January 8 or so won January POTM in his new club in Belgium. And the lad just keeps it going. #NaijaBoyWhoNoSend tbaba1234: 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Why NFF made Yobo Eagles’ assistant coach – Pinnick President, Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, has given reasons for Joseph Yobo’s appointment as Super Eagles assistant coach. Mixed reactions have trailed the decision of the NFF to pick Yobo, a former captain of the national team, as Gernot Rohr’s assistant. Even some of Yobo’s fellow ex-internationals questioned the 2013 AFCON winner’s experience and qualification for the Eagles job. But Pinnick, in an exclusive interview with Sunday PUNCH, said Yobo’s appointment was a unanimous decision of the NFF’s Executive Committee. “The NFF is very excited with his appointment and will take it as a responsibility to ensure that he gets the requisite (coaching) qualifications at the highest level,” Pinnick stated. “That’s how Stephen Keshi started. Who says Yobo can’t be the next Nigerian to win the the AFCON as player and coach? “FIFA stipulates that the head coach and first assistant coach must have coaching licences. Yobo is not the first assistant coach. “The idea is that we want to nurture and condition him to provide leadership and mentorship for the young team, using the Nigerian factor, which Gernot (Right) cannot provide. “He’s played for some of Europe’s big clubs, won the AFCON and he is one of our most-capped players ever. So, we should back him to succeed.” Pinnick added that Yobo’s former teammate at Everton, Mikel Arteta, began coaching immediately on retirement in 2016, despite not having the experience, and rose through the ranks to become Arsenal’s manager. “When Yobo was at Everton, Arteta was on the bench. But he began his coaching career as an assistant at Manchester City when he retired. Today, he is the Arsenal manager and one of the top coaches in England. So, we should learn to support our own. “Are we going to keep relying on foreigners all the time?” He said. Source : The Punch 1 Like |
