not just sex..

I'm not homophobic as long as they keep to this

Ok

Sex and other sex related acts between lovers should be private. I am not a gay but not in support of jail terms because two people are in love.
But whatever heat gays are feeling now in Nigeria they brought it upon themselves. There won't be need for harsh 14 yes imprisonment If they did not demand legislation for same sex marriage at the time they did.
Part of my growing up was around Oke koto a.k.a as Kampala in Agege. It has been a place for gay prostitution before I was born and even before Nigeria became an independent nation. They lived freely within the community without anyone harassing them.
Africans have been practicing homosexuality before the arrival of the white men. Gays lived their lives as members of different communities without harassment. Our people should understand white people enacted sodomy laws and repealed it when it was convenient for them.

How can you put your stuff in a woman’s stuff?! How?! That’s ridiculous!

I’m sure some people think some of the stuff you do during sex is bizarre but then... that doesn’t really mean anything.

So what does you thinking that homosexual intercourse is bizarre bring to the table?

When people argue that something is (un)natural, I really wonder what they mean?

How exactly, is homosexuality unnatural?

Instead of going purely on dictionary definition.... try to get the concept of natural... as used in context. In context.... it is pretty much the same as instinct.... what a man would do if he... another man... and a woman were dropped all alone on an island as children and grow up to be adults. It would be natural for both the men and woman to have sexual desires.... but both men would naturally/instinctively seek to have their desires fulfilled from the woman and not each other. This is the best I can do to answer your question.

Look at these sanctimonious hypocrites up there. Religion also frowns on fornication, lies, stealing
Don't get emotional ma'am, these things you said doesn't make sense as far as this topic is concerned. Every person who lies, fornicates etc know that s/he is committing a sin. Heck, they even go for confession but do gays agree that something is wrong? NOPE.

Stealing is illegal and a punishable crime so I don't get why it is part of your comment.

makydebbie:
and judging people
Bible didn't condemn judging people, it rather teaches how to judge. Show me where it is said that we should not judge.

makydebbie:
But you do all of that and more, when it comes to one's sexuality, you're quoting the Bible verse that suits your narrative.
Like I have already said, anyone doing the aforementioned knows that s/he is doing something wrong. People get killed everyday for stealing so what's your point?

makydebbie:
Busy judging people, I'm sure God is wondering why you don't mind your business and when He made you all deputy Jesus since you're doing His work for Him.
I hold nothing against homosexuals but this your argument holds no water. You're being more emotional than rational.

The foreign media has finished this one.

Lemme ask you.

Have you ever wondered why the media never portrayed a homosexual as dundee, thief, terrorist, drug addict, etc?

Why do they always portray them as quiet, gentle, talented and mostly good looking?

Ask yourself why then you will see why.

rayray2020:

How is it normal? Since when did it become normal? What happened before it became normal? What's the sexual orientation of the researchers who said it's normal?

You've a problem and your problem is your inability to look beyond your nose.

Homosexuals don't just want to be homosexuals, they want to be homosexuals and special. That's where the problem comes from.

Imagine the little number of homosexuals we have yet they're making all these noise, now ask yourself what happens when they become the majority?

Simple, they will outlaw being straight.

Heck, you can't even joke about them.

Just a joke and Kelvin Harts couldn't host Oscar's.

Sometime ago a priest was arrested for refusing to wed gay couple.

Is this not an infringement on their rights? I mean the priest and Kelvin.

Soon, you won't be able to have a job without publicly declaring your support for homosexuals.

Then you will understand what's coming but it's going to be too late.

Homosexuals do everything we do except forcing the fact that they're homosexuals down our throat.

I have a question for you lobbyist, how many more things are you going to term normal as long as it doesn't affect you directly?

Bestiality, incest etc?

How far can you?

Because once you allow one, another will start clamoring for recognition.

According to the Bible, it’s wrong to eat the fruit of a young tree, wear clothes with two different types of clothing or eat many of the things we eat today.

Let’s face it, according to the Bible (Old Testament), we are all going to hell.

Why cherry pick and give special attention to people having sex with people of the same sex, one of the many many things that is wrong according to the Bible?

I don’t see you guys raving about how fornication is wrong according to the Bible... Does it have something to do with the fact that people like to turn a blind eye to their own sins?
Can you explain your point with Bible reference.
Re: Being Gay Shouldn't Be A Crime In Nigeria by Illuminatus(m): 10:03pm On Feb 15, 2020
mechanics:
Can you explain your point with Bible reference.

Deuteronomy 22:22: If a man is discovered committing adultery, both he and the woman must die. In this way, you will purge Israel of such evil.
Matthew 5:27-28: “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Leviticus 19:19: 19 “You shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your cattle breed with a different kind. You shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor shall you wear a garment of cloth made of two kinds of material.”
Leviticus 19:23-25:
23 “‘When you enter the land and plant any kind of fruit tree, regard its fruit as forbidden.[a] For three years you are to consider it forbidden[b]; it must not be eaten. 24 In the fourth year all its fruit will be holy, an offering of praise to the Lord. 25 But in the fifth year you may eat its fruit. In this way your harvest will be increased. I am the Lord your God.”

My point is that the Bible said that a lot of things (some of which we do today) are sins. Now, for people who believe the Bible and live by its dictates, this is a big deal because it means we shouldn’t be so quick to castigate people who sin differently from us when we ourselves are not without sin.

However, For people who don’t believe the Bible on the other hand, these tenets will hold no water as they don’t have to live according to the Bible.

Hence, to scream that homosexuality is wrong in a society made up of people, some of whom aren’t Christians or Jewish, is rather myopic. Imagine if Muslims went around screaming that drinking alcohol is haram and everyone should cease to do that.

Yes, your religion may be against homosexuality. But that doesn’t mean everyone else should be forced to agree with that. Using religion as a argument against homosexuality is myopic.

But the Bible you are quoting still talk against homosexuals in the new testament, I understand your point, even in the old testament, when a person sin against God, he or she gets instant judgement, we are in the new dispensation, that's why His grace is sufficient for us.

Thank you tallesty for schooling them, the problem with homosexuals is that they forcefully want us to accept them, not the act, how can you force a human to accept what he doesn't like? That's nonsense, if you want to do your act, do it in your closet and in private, fornicators, adulterers, robbers don't flaunt their acts in public for show offs, hell, homo in the west forcefully made themselves to be accepted and seen as special babies and entities, like their sexuality is better than every single profitable thing known to man, and they are not up to one percent of the world population, imagine if they become majority, I guess other straight people will be dominated and controlled by them, calling them second class citizens, there will now be special elite employment for their likes, and segregation, forcing those who can't stand it to become homosexual s, wouldn't that be a form of sexual racism, drawing us back to the time of old when racism was the norm?

Homosexuality will NEVER be accepted here, not in this country that thrives mostly on religion, stay in a country where y'all are accepted and do your thing, if you're still not satisfied, get a meeting with Buhari and see if you won't get a boko haram treatment.

People have taken this homosexuality to another level. Does it mean that once white men lost their sanity and we Africans should emulate? Even animals can distinguish between male and female of its kind while mating. Sixty years ago it was abomination to mention homosexuality in public, look at what satan and its cohorts have turned the world into? Please the redeemed of the lord should be on alert this time. Because the coming of our lord Jesus Christ is near. May God bless Vladimir Putin and others for not allowing evil contamination to creep into their country. How can someone think of having s*x with his/her kind unless the person is possessed by the evil spirits. What they need is deliverance not acceptable. No need to quote me because I won't reply.
