Lol... You're funny. Who knows? That could be part of it sef. No offence to Man Utd though. They will rise again. Lol

You know, when Iheanacho was banging in goals at Man City and even became the most lethal forward in Europe at a point in the 2015/2016 season based on goals per mins ratio, what was the excuse these lots used again? grin

They said he was having it easy and was surrounded by beast creative players like KDB, Leroy Sane, Sterling, Gundogan, and so on... These lots both the ones present at the time and the ones who just joined obviously had the opinion that anyone could do what Nacho was doing.
Now Haaland is in same boat and they change tune bcoz he is a white boy. I laugh.

Iheanacho also had a fantastic UCL goals ratio for Man City. But it didn't matter then naa... Why? Dude was having it easy with the supporting cast. Is that not what Haaland is enjoying too now at Dortmund? grin

Praising a lad in the same scenario that was used to villify our own lad. That is the height of the hypocritical analyses you get from calumniously funny folks. Lol

What is sauce for the goose, is sauce for the gander. wink

No wonder dude dumped Man utd for Dortmund. When he saw Perreria, Lingard and an ageing Mata as their supply chain grin grin

He will just turn to a white Benteke in the team.

I don't really understand this argument about Osimhen and Haaland going on here. While I believe that Haaland is phenomenal, I also think that Osimhen is exceptional. The former has a bit of an edge at the moment cuz he plays in a more compact and talented team than the later. Both are great finishers in my opinion.

Elsewhere you will laughed at...
As for osimhem, scoring in a Ligue 1 is good but not that impressive..
For anyone to truly notice him he needs to smash it like the likes of hazard, mbappe, Benz did for him him to achieve a top club to take notice...But then again he's not as talented as those guys...
Maybe he will lucky to reach the level of a Lacezette......

Good one.

And good that we are fielding a strong squad for the double header. We just need 4points from the two games to secure qualification.

Abeg we want the 6 pts, Algeria is breathing down on our neck as per FIFA ranking

this seems like you are referring to a certain Cristiano Ronaldo who is regarded as one the best players in this era simply because of his end product. at the end of the day what counts is the end product and he simply has scored far more goals than Osimhen. So give him the credit and at this particular time he is better than Osimhen.
Imagine if this guy were Nigerian and I'm sure our analysis here would have been a lot different. I remember how we were all praising Iheanacho for his positioning and all when he was scoring at Man City and even comparing him with Mpabbe(laughable). while we are here saying Haaland doesn't work hard enough, who really cares about hard work when you can score two goals at the blink of an eye. Even if he doesn't score in a match but the fact that he has more than one goal a match(which is an extraordinary record) will cover for any match he fails to score.
we also forget that this guy is young, will learn alot and he is not as lazy as you guys are making it look

I already made the comparison in a subsequent post.

Let us not reduce Kelechi. He doesn't just wait by the post, his assists are there to speak for themselves, so, while Kelechi had tap-ins, he also had assists.

A lot of you are talking as if anybody is saying Haaland isn't good, and that is a very unfair way to look at what anyone is saying.

I prefer Osimhen's style, make I talk am like that, before world people will come back to misconstrue and misinterprete

.you made some points tho

You see oshimen have not really been fortunate to play amongst creative playmakers in club level like haaland

But let's be hopeful...because you know even players like bastauyi can play in same teams he was even in Dortmund at some point but don't think he was really impressive. ..
Dortmund have always been known of chopping out strikers like Aubeamyang and lewandoski (sorry for my spellings tho) I remember then there was a man called koller too

So I am happy for haaland just pray our lad oshimen gets a similiar compact team next summer

This Haaland Vs Osimnhen debate has being overflogged joor

Nobody is undermining Haaland

If not for anything, I've read Thesupernerd in more than one occasion praise Haaland and call him an exceptional talent

Don't Just undermine Osimhen because you want to elevate Haaland

Both can exist on their own

Haaland is very good likewise is Osimhen

And you will just be a liar if you believe Osimhen won't score tonnes of goals in Salzburg and Dortmund

the black man is the black man's worst enemy, but even worse, the African man is especially the worst of his kind.

You sound like someone whose forefathers sold slaves. You will sit down and say your own person will never amount to anything, instead of you to wish him the best. So, Osimhen cannot be Drogba or even Mane level, it is Lacazette he will be 'lucky' to reach, and you said this useless thing with your full chest, like Chiwetalu Agu in a Nollywood movie; someone that will rather see his entire family live in penury, than for someone in the family to progress. The worst type of human being there is.

This is the kind of foolish thing Nigerians used to drag Burna Boy when he was looking for his recognition, only to take glory and celebrate with him when he reached a peak, and then fire him again for not winning Grammy.

I pray that you will be able to afford fifty naira to whatch Osimhen at your viewing centre when he surpasses your evil wishes for him. God will shame your likes in his life.

Nonsense

I laugh at u because Victor James Osimhen is having a better first season in Ligue 1 than any player you have mentioned. Right now Mbappe 's 33 goal season might be the only record he doesn't better.

Abeg, I hear say Our Super Eagles' march game vs Sierra Leone have been scheduled for Asaba.

The initial plans of Benin City was scrapped because of the National Sports festival and other reasons like that.

Game is gonna hold on the 27th of March with the return in Freetown four days later.

Hmmm... Asaba again. Last time we played there, we drew am I right? But for one thing, we have never lost in Asaba. We have won some games there and drew twice there I think.

From Benin city to Uyo and now Asaba..

It's alright ..

He don do abeg. Haaland is a baller and he's arguably the best in the world at the moment. According to start, he's way ahead of Osimen but Osimen is our own and will always have our hearts irrespective of whatever stats Haaland is dishing. If Osimen is in that Dortmund team, who knows, he might even perform better than Haaland. Let's stop the unnecessary arguments and just wish our boy well. BTW, it's an honour for Osimen to be compared to Haaland

Right now, I hope Osimhen makes the same career choice Halaand made.. He shouldn't choose his next team because they are offering him more money . He should chose the team he believes will suit him more.
If Halaand had chosen Man utd because they offered him 200k per week, we won't be having this conversation.. He will be playing Thursday night football with Fred, Preirra and Lingard behind him .cheesy

My problem with the pitch is the size of the grass . It's quite unlike what our boys play on in Europe.. it's sometimes kill the flow of the game. Plus the pitch itself is smaller in size. a defensive minded team can cage us in that stadium..

Not a good venue IMO...

Hahaha, some say I am talking like Rohr already. Mathematically, that is what I am saying, we need only 4pts from the tie to secure qualification, even with two games to spare.
But definitely, definitely I would want us to claim all 6pts. If nothing else for the sake of our FIFA ranking.

Let's get six point in the bag and as well use the other matches to cap tie ejaria, lookman, And any other ready eligible players

None of his goals were 'created'

The first was a tap in he chased down from a rebound , the second was a left footed screamer from outside the box
That's why i applaud him for his quick decision taking. I'll say he manages space well with what i watched yesterday.
