Guy, you don't need to be dragging all these trivial issues here, even if you have time , it's NOT everyone that you should respond too. By the way, once our partners communicate with us to get the permits, then we have no choice, even though we need to be proactive. while I was eating somewhere around the shrine area (Hakeem Dickson) , someone got a call from his friend that VIO have arrested him and he's been taking to the taskforce office at Oshodi, the guy beg with 10k them no gree but insisted on 20k, I gave them the numbers to call, ate and left.
But did the friend said he was arrested because of lasdiri and hackney, just curious.
The other day someone came to the group to say he was arrested and he spent 25k to get his car back but when we probed further we learnt he was arrested because he took one way it was even lasma that stopped him but before it became clear to us he had already created panick.

According to him, he said it was because of Lasdri and hackeny permit (they deliberately asked and are taking advantage of his ignorance I guess ), even the guy was like "ewo ni Harley permit ?".

You want to educate me? With what education?

The kind of education that doesn't realise government policy is binding on all corporate entities in an economy?

What education do you want to educate me?

Guys please becareful out there. I was at bode Thomas today when this request came in on bolt. Rider called immediately that he's beside the ecobank at adeniran ogunsanya, that he's on black t shirt and cap. Lo and behold, as I got there, saw the guy, beckoned on him to board so I can zoom off, dude was directing me to park first. Ah ahn I suspected something was wrong. Looked to my front saw 2 police men approach ing to block me. Na so I match my pedal to the foot mat. Called the guy and yab the hell out of his life. His response was, I go catch you again. This is his number 0803 573 1572 I later turned back to see if he's still there, yes! But this time in a blue Corolla and the same police man infront of the corolla ordering the driver to bring his license. Please guys let's call him and yab his already stupid lifestyle of frustrating drivers

All these idiots using foreign numbers to request a ride in Lagos. What exactly are they trying to prove? You stand at Obalende with your scraggy ass using a UK number, you can't even call, expecting the uber driver to sniff you out with his nose. Fools everywhere.

Bruh I was not arguing for points. I was only telling oga to calm the fvck down until they (ehailing companies) make it official.

Now that they have, it’s in one’s best interest to get it. Simple.

Fair enough. Let's bet - #10,000 each. We will both send the money to a neutral party.

If I am able to point you to this document you think doesn't exist, I get your #10,000. If not, you get my #10,000.

What I don't understand now is I own my car. What do I need lasdri for now. Will it be compulsory to upload that on my Uber profile.

One very annoying character with us Nigerians is that we never complain, as long as it doesn't concern us.

Keke and Okada was banned but nobody complained because we don't have Kekes and Okadas

I remembered few years back (5 years maybe) when Lagos State brought this LASDRI nonsense. Nobody complained because "e no concern me"

How can the Federal government issue me a driving licence and that's not enough for a state government to let me drive? Every new government has a way of riding us, and will keep on reoccurring

I pray every single state in Nigeria copies Lagos and start issuing their own "DRIs".

At least, before you reach Abuja, you go don use 3 days on the road, applying for various DRIs

Very useless country we live in

That's why our leaders are ridding us like hoes, Nigerians need another independence from mental slavery.

Uber has implemented it.
