As long as she served the meal wearing sexy lingeries with her nippless standing firm and upright with her red pant showing vividly coupled with a seductive smile, I'll even wash the plate after eating.
You can't serve me meal wearing tear-tear wrapper smelling fish fish and expect me to carry my plate to the kitchen after eating.

It's not bad if it's a voluntary act. But if he has people around, then respect demands that the man of the house enjoys such priviledges.

What then is the purpose of being married when you still live like a bachelor?

The ideal thing is for him to do after eating is to abandon it there in the dining and his wife will either call the maid to clear up or do it herself.

*Modified *

A good wife is supposed to even sit with her husband and keep him company while he eats (If possible bring another spoon and join him) that way he'll gladly accompany you to the kitchen with the dishes and you two will continue your gisting there and do the washing together.

I like how it is ur preference either that the wife or maid does it in ur version of an ideal world. Isn't that what some guys marry for, to acquire lifetime maids?

The kind of questions asked on this forum are quite baffling!
So, it's now a crime or taboo for an abled man to carry his plate to the kitchen after finishing his meal. Na wa o! That one too is the wife duty abi? Infact, do some men even lived before getting married sha?

Very soon now, we'll be seeing the question.... Is it right for a man to clean up himself after defecating?

SMH....

What is wrong in carrying your plate after you finish eating? YOUR OWN PLATE??

Wtf is wrong with you people!?

So if your wife is sick or she travelled, you'll leave your plate on the table until she gets back right?

This is what it means to create a mountain out of a molehill.

Quit with this ancestral way of thinking. It has nothing to do with being an Alpha Man.

If I may ask whats your job as a wife?

Most conflicts in marriages today arise because most of you dumb females don't even know your role as a wife. You just want a husband that's all and have nothing to offer to him aside from spreading your legs for sex and popping out babies.

When a man spends 30days struggling to earn a living in order to give you a better life, you see it as his responsibility. He leaves the home very early and ensures that enough finance is made available for the home.

Then comes back exhausted and finishes his food and you expect him to clear the plates. If you can't keep him company while he eats and prefer to play the role of a restaurant waiter then you must play it to the fullest by clearing the table when he's done. That's your own responsibility.

So, your complaint is because you're being paid to catch feelings or some other benefit?

Thank God you've taken the time to enlighten the dumb females that its the woman's responsibility not the maid. How come it's not the man's responsibility in advanced countries? Or are they lesser versions of the Male species? The problem with you lot Is that you're entitled and sometimes inconsiderate. You have no clue how much domestic work a housewife does.

Nobody is forcing the man to pay bride price, he can stay remain unmarried if he wants.

BTW, nothing is wrong with a man going to keep his plate in the kitchen after eating. Last time I visited my married elder brother, when he finished eating he took his plate to the kitchen and also washed it, he even helps clean the house sometimes, they are still living happily and heaven have not fall because he helped in doing housework.

May your days be long on Earth.
Some of these ladies have absolute nothing to offer except their smelly pvssy.
They are quick to assert that it is modern life. Look at where modernity has brought marriages to.
Every day in court, you will count cases of divorce. Just because some women refused to act as one and some idiotic men think its modernity.

Nope he's not..
Whilst he was very young ..their parents taught them how to cook...so he doesn't see cooking and doing chores as a difficult task.

There is nothing wrong for a man to clear his own plates and even that of his wife after eating as long as it does not become a daily affair. By the way, it was the woman who spent the time to prepare the meals.

Doing this won't take away your pride.
