There's no hard n fast rule in a home where love exists. N when u get married, you might actually be surprised by how much slack you cut your wife. Just imagine a pregnant wife taking care of kids, u might be so awed by her cooking, the other stuff dont count. CrazyMan: 2 Likes 1 Share |

I wonder oh. Most Nigerian men don’t even earn up to 300k per month, yet they want somebody’s daughter to kneel and serve them food. Are you an adequate husband bringing chicken change home to provide for the family? Yet you expect royal standard service from your wife, because you are the King of the palace abi?. Somebody that will still contribute money to the home because hubby is complaining that he is under too much financial stress. Abegiii Gift7428: 8 Likes |

CrazyMan:You’re not married so please stfu and allow those who are married to contribute sensibly. It’s always those who are not married that think they know it all, but once they enter, they become so humble. Nonsense |

olabrinks:What's eating you up...11pm you're still on social media typing about marriage... obviously your home is worse than the Nigerian economy. Quit being a nusiance to yourself by trolling this thread like a dog on heat and go and submit yourself to your husband... typing here won't end the frustration you're facing in your home. 1 Like |

If he volunteers no problem... I will always sit with my husband whenever he eats, would feed him water, and definitely pack his plates; willingly and gladly... 3 Likes 1 Share |

CrazyMan: Your ideology is based on the fact that he married a housewife nah. If he married someone as busy as he is in terms of working and earning money, he better have a maid to be removing his plate after eating or else, he will die there. Oga, stop being a chauvinist. Complement your wife whenever possible. Marriage works better as a teamwork. NB: my dad cooks, cleans and serves himself food. He's meticulous about cleaning, more than myself. Sometimes, he arrives from work earlier than my mom (especially days she has to go to market to do her business) and chop clean mouth hours before anybody is home. When my mom went for omugwo and he was the only one at home (because we all were living in school), he feed himself for that period without complain. My mom didn't have to worry cause she knew oga na correct guy. 5 Likes |

COdeGenesis: Have you heard about spouses complementing each other? That's what makes marriage work. It's not about the breadwinner. See this scenario: I on gen in my house, I fill gas. Though I cook and clean, (but I know my parents share the cooking and cleaning in the house when its just them at home) and I learnt that from them, so, invariably, I expect such from my spouse. House rent and children's school fees maybe similar to paying for your own utility bills as a single person. Based on your comment, what then will my husband now be doing? But I also understand he'd like to be in charge of most if not all of these things, so I'll let him do it, hoping he'd have my back in other areas. Like serving himself food occasionally. To the Op, the issue isn't whether it's right or wrong. Marriage shouldn't be a war between the sexes. People should learn to achieve balance in every point instead of claiming rights on every issue. I've tok my own. 3 Likes |

Who told you that all girlfriends wash, cook and do chores for their boyfriends? Bulllshit, if the side chick is that good as you have mentioned, then I wonder why the man did not marry her and leave his wife to find a better husband for herself. The way you cheats praise infidelity. CrazyMan: 2 Likes |

CrazyMan:Shut the fvck up dude. When you marry someone half your age without any viable means of supporting themselves this is the kind of stuff you spit out. Also when you get yourself tied to women who only offer you sex you will be forced to reason this way. I have realized that most men marry girls that they are way older than because they are searching for maids and sex trophy not wife. They look for beauty and girls that dish out sex at will without checking if they have anything upstairs and can support themselves. They run away from girls with independent mindset, high intellectual acumen, women that has high reasoning abilities /intelligence and women that can support and bring more to the table than sex. Because they want to feel like gods. Men who do this, do not wish to be challenged intellectually in their homes rather they prefer to wallow in their overinflated ego but when chips are down and their egos are wounded because their trophy wife is no longer massaging those blasted egos , they go about writing trash about women. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Citizenshelm: It is absolutely wrong, Sir. He should actually kick the plate into the sink, wash it, and properly kick back into the plate rack. Or, in order to avoid injury on his toes, I think he should kuku back the plate with a very strong wrapper to the kitchen! 7 Likes 2 Shares |

I dont like to interfere with this issues however I love what you said. I am not from the south as I am a yoruba person and my wife and I are like you. I cook on sundays after training my wife and kids(Sunday workouts) then I dont see a big deal in taking my dish to kitchen after eating. I carry mine, the kids carry theirs so is my wife and house help. No big issue in it except any man sees it that way. If a man should see it that way, it shouldn't be a problem. Your wife would notice this and do the needful. ahnie: 2 Likes |
