I was the senior prefect of the above named college way back 2009. From story, things haven't changed much cultism wise. But during my tenure, we (staff and well-meaning prefects) worked hard to suppress their actions from escalating while pinning down their top figures sensibly one after the other.
But in a failed experimental country as ours, meaningless crimes will flourish no matter the effort to suppress them. So long we remain divided in our minds, no matter how much we feign to be in unity, underdevelopment and consequentially worrisome acts remain inevitable.

1) Restructure every thing in her ie, education, civil service, laws, constitution, military, paramilitary, ideology,economy etc
2) Divide it (restore Biafra) because it will make it easy if not a must, to achieve the above, it is nearly impossible to achieve the above without doing number 2.
Else nigeria will sink into a point of no return.

No opposing gang related clashes was involved. It was an unrest perpetuated by students of the school against staff of the School and members of the police force ( when they were called to quell the fracas).

Cultism do reflect in secondary schools but in this contest is technical school. This school in question should be a science and technical school, if am right. Most of science and technical school are mixture of technical and pure science secondary school in the same compound, they share same facilities except hostels. Technical school do comprises of adult , I mean 20yrs and above. So if we argue the fact that this issue is cause by technical college cult group, is not far from he truth.

GTC Ewet has always been on the news for cult/crime/crises related events.
My cousin finished his high school there. Tough guys I must say. They're are constantly at war with students of Uyo High School who always syccum to their superior gun technology.
We invited them for a friendly match sometime in 2004, Na so all their student just dey enter our premises with school bag. We had to cancel the match immediately.

May God increase you in wisdom. You just captured the root problem of the country. The sense of entitlement that the citizens can procreate needlessly and expect the government to provide for them and their children without any productive inputs from such people.
