Must he download all the maps? The spec seem good enough for sanhok and default erangel. He can also reduce graphics settings which the game would reduce automatically and he would enjoy his game. Meanwhile, I never played or used an mtk device but seeing the ram meets the minimum requirement and he has a fast network, I'm sure he would go through. LG G5 was great with pubg when I had it so G6 will also be..
