Some of us just turned 20. Is there anything you wish you knew when you were 20 that you know now and would like to share?

Kindly share your mistakes made, lessons learnt and practical approaches you've employed to fare nicely in adulthood.

My brother just live and enjoy your life the way it pleases you.

Some of us, if we can turn back the hands of time, we would make the same mistake again..

The mistakes we make when young are what shaped us into what we are today.

NOTE, no advice here will be practically implemented, without a MENTOR

A mentor is the one you need now till you are married. You need someone who will guide you into manhood properly.

Here are some things a young must do to mature into great influence and wealth properly...

Get mentors for Five major areas of your LIFE
1) Financial Life (this entails savings, investment and business)

2) Relationship Life (dont run from ladies rather have legit discipline not to entangle yourself in sexual relationships or pornographic habits, improve your relationship with yourself first)

3) Career Life( be informed about relevant career paths and go about it wisely)

4) Health Life (eating wisely, sleeping healthy, mental health, etc)

5) Spiritual Life (having practical & balanced understanding of the gospel so that fake hungry prophets or men of God do not mislead you. Because Life is Spiritual, and many things in life can only be explained from the spiritual realm)

These 5 basic areas will give you great balance in life.

I suspect you may not take my advice, because you may feel you are wiser or feel special to do anything and get away with it... But if you are ready to be committed and disciplined to follow what i have listed about. In just 5 years.... You will be a great positive influence with moral excellence and strong financial foundation.

This is the truth you need to fulfill a great destiny. Dont follow the crowd or the society trend.

See you at the top

Knowledge is good, but knowledge doesn't come from attending schools only especially in Nigeria, Never put all eggs in one basket by having so much faith in schooling and certificates.

There is no definite path to greatness in life but try your best to gain admission into University but concentrate more on learning a skill than what you are being taught in school(when you grow up you will understand my submission better)

Make sure you have a child before 25
If you can't do baby-mama, please marry before 25. I know you think you are still very young but trust me, by the time you are 30 years old you won't regret it.

As at 20years old, my friends were getting thier girlfriends pregnant, I thought I was wiser and more sensible than they were by not getting a girl pregnant.
Now I know I was foolish.

If you are a woman, try everything within your grasp to get educated.

Try your possible best to resist free meat pie and ice cream, the urge of having numerous men/sexual partners. because it's at this age you are supposed to use your feminine beauty to attract your spouse not (boyfriend).

If you wait till 26, 28 you might end up bitter and regretting because you will have to wait for more years before "a not so wise man" settles for you. Men fancy younger women.

Whatever you do, avoid bleaching cream or toning cream(in whatever name they come in).

Don't try alcohol, cigarretes, tramadol or any other form of highness. What is bothering me right now is not even the health implication but the amount of money you waste daily when you become addicted to those things just to feel 'alright'

I spent nothing less than 11k on booze from friday to sunday. Today is monday and I am left with just 2k. Funny thing is the circle keeps repeating itself.

Get closer to God. It may sound cliche but it's never out of fashion. It's only the work God does through you that will live forever. Just like you clocked 20 in what seems like a blink of an eye, 40 will soon come knocking, trust me.

Also, get the purpose of your life from God so you can kickstart things early when time is still on your side. When you know your purpose, you can then know what necessarily skills to learn.

And always remember, the greatest investments in life are people and time. Life is not all about money.

Kindly share your mistakes made, lessons learnt and practical approaches you've employed to fare nicely in adulthood.

1. Females: You don't need to stay away from them, but you must ensure you don't invest too much of your time and emotions into any woman at this stage of your life. It's never worth it.

2. Studies: Yes, study, study, study...read everything and anything. If you're a student, take your studies seriously. There's no such thing as a class of degree doesn't matter, it matters!

3. Discover yourself: Now is a good time to know who you are. Trust me, a lot of people think they do but most don't. Discover yourself by knowing what you stand for and what you stand against - develop your personal principles and try very hard to live by them.

4. Socialize: Build and maintain good friendships. By the time you're 30, you should be able to name at least five people you've been close friends with for 10years. This is very important.

5. Have fun: No not the kind of fun you might be thinking. What I mean is, have fun by engaging in activities that double as fun and aided personal development, some include;
- Swimming. Learn to swim and be good at it, it's one of the most effective exercises with the least stress.
- Sport. Learn to play at least one sport and be good at it. It doesn't have to be football.
- Music. Learn to play a musical instrument if you have an interest, it does not mean you will turn into a musician.

Above all, be a good person.
Don't be a push-over, just be good.

Find a passion!

Enter a relationship.

Make friends.

Make enemies.

Focus on your academics.

Have fun and enjoy your life.

Stop worrying.

Stay away from crime and anything that you could be addicted to.

1. It's a cold world out there
2. You're not special. Why I said this is for you to shun any form of entitlement because nobody owes you anything.
3. You'll succeed if you are diligent

The same advice I'd give him when he turns 30

For just 135k you could get a 1kva Inverter, 100AH rugged deep cycle battery, 150w panel and a 30A controller + installation. The system would serve 10hrs daily on basic loadings. Call on us now!
