The agent was willing to tell me about the visa ban in regards to k-1 visa but he asked if I have an active case and required my name, passport number and date of birth. My case is closed since my visa has already been issued so I couldn’t proceed! At this point, I suggest that someone with an active case make the call. Here is the number; +234 1 227 8955.

I just called customer service agent, the lady said she can't say if K1 visa is affected by the visa ban because K1 is not an immigrant visa neither is it a full non-immigrant visa, but what she called "Special Non- Immigrant Visa", she said that i should visit the US Embassy in Lagos for clarification

Will it hurt if they are straight forward with their answer? I’ve read that link and like you said the more you read the less you understand.
