NLC is a very big problem to free enterprise in this country....do they even know what it takes to run a disco...they should ask themselves why investors shy away from the power sector.

What i don't understand about this distribution network companies is that

Go to new sites in Lagos or ogun state

The resident will tax theirselves to buy poles, cables, feeder pillar,even tax theirselves to pay for transformation or probably lobby from local government
After all this
The distribution network will still come and claim its their property

Bill estimation and when the NEPA staff come to read meter they write DL which is door lock or gate lock that gives room for outrageous estimated bill. I give up for happenings in this country

No problem. Just calculate the hours you had electricity for the month and minus from the total bill. Naija is a scam.

Life will be hard for the people. Hike in electricity means hike in all produce

The VAT of a thing is particularly annoying. Airtime that I used for 45minutes before now lasts barely 30minutes because of VAT.. Rubbish
For every min call you make,you are charged 0.21k for vat, for every SMS you sent you are charged 0.10.

since you nor go school open your empty brain make I put am;
VAT is usually implemented as a destination-based tax, where the tax rate is based on the location of the consumer and applied to the sales price. Confusingly, the terms VAT, GST, sales tax and the more general and undefined consumption tax are sometimes used interchangeably. VAT raises about a fifth of total tax revenues both worldwide and among the members of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). As its name suggests, value-added tax is designed to tax only the value added by a business on top of the services and goods it can purchase from the market.
