Aguiyi Ironsi, Katina, Odimegwu Ojukwu, Ejoor, Wey and General Gowon

Standing behind Aguiyi Ironsi was T Y Danjuma who was his ADC at the time, he betrayed and masterminded his boss's death leading to pogrom and civil war. The man killed what he is protecting.

T Y Danjuma Is a christian from middle-belt. He, together with Gowon and other officers exploited the command structure of the military and manufactured fear that Biafra is out to overrun the north, at this juncture, many were manipulated into a fratricidal war with the Igbos . the Hausa/Fulani 'were in Sokoto and Kano relaxing and watching the two.

The war was executed by 70%of middle-belt ,25% of west/midwest & 5% of hausa/fulani.
T Y Danjuma was rewarded with oil well for his role in civil war and enthroning fulani oligarchy. Today his own people is at the mercy of the same fulani oligarchy that he worked very hard to enthroned.

Thanks man.This is what I wanted to correct the OP about.The teaching of Histroy needs to be returned into Nigeria educational curriculum.

Im not sure about that. The census crisis of 1963, the election violence of 1964 and 'operation wetie' of 1965 were all violent uprisings that let the military striking 8n January 1966

There was already fire on the mountain long before Ironsi came

your entirely wrong, the man standing behind ironsi was T.Y danjuma. He was later replace by Nwankwo but the new ADC could not act effectively because Nigeria was at the Verge Civil war.

Look at the picture well, does that guy look like Danjuma to you?

Ironsi only had one ADC throughout the the 6 months he was head of state and that was Captain Andrew Nwankwo.

BTW, the war did not start until a year after Ironsi's death

Violence is an evil no matter whatever a single person or a group of persons have done in time past

When u lack knowledge of history u spill rubbish, TY danjuma was never ironsi ADC it was colonel sani bello father of the current governor of Niger state
