Northerners don't take shit ke? Have you been to a police station in the north? Just go and see what happens there. Like I told you, you don't get to hear of SARS killing or harassing people in the north because they don't even confront them. Over there, they fear people in uniform even FRSC. An average northerner does not go about claiming rights or dragging with them. They simply plead and beg and give all they have.
It's not true.....

He slapped me first is never the beginning of a fight. The loggerhead between Igbos and Yorubas started since 1960, exacerbated by Awolowo when he actively participated in the war when he could have been neutral. Nzeribe went to court to seek an injunction to annul the June 12, 1993 elections which gave the military the excuse they need however Abiola caused it by insensitively picking a Muslim Muslim ticket. So Nnamdi Kanu is not the forcet origo of the tensions
Awolowo have the choice to choose for the Yorubas whether to side with Biafra or Nigeria. He does not owe the Igbos any loyalty and I always laugh when you guys mention betrayal. When did he ever made an pact with you in the first place.

However, your hate for him is justified because to you he fought against you. If I was to be an Igbo too, I will hate Awolowo.

Likewise, if you’re a Yoruba you’ll hate Kanu for what he said about us when he started his Biafra agitation. He could agitate without abusing the Yorubas but instead he chose to talk anyhow on the media space. Hence we are also justified to hate him back.

It’s very simple you know. Actions beget consequences.

You are comparing words that harmed nobody to actions that killed millions? Awolowo may decide to side with Biafra or side with Nigeria or decide to be neutral. The reason why he ought to be neutral is because he advocated for the same
seccession but felt the West was too militarize to declare it. With this he should have been neutral,
he was too greedy for power. This greed was a major reason he was fighting with Akintola from 1961 or so and even charged and imprisoned for treason. Another reason he should have been neutral was because the coupist(Nzeogwu and his team) wanted to install Awolowo but were unsuccessful however this ultimately led to the civil war. Considering this he should have been neutral. Comparing Kanu words to Awolowo's actions is outrageous!

You said he is greedy right?

Azikwe was not greedy when he wrote an epistle to the North when they tried echoing the thought of secession.
Ojukwu and his cronies was not greedy when he stopped the secession of Adaka Boro and imprisoned him?

All is fair in war. Awo was fighting on the Nigeria side at that time and he used his intelligence for the Nigerian side. The Biafrans also tried invading Ore and Yoruba life was also lost in the war. Stop making it seems like only the Igbos die in that war.

Again, the hate for Kanu is justified. He already changed his ways now and you will see that the Yorubas don't even talk about him anymore. Before, any thread on Kanu will reach many pages but now people barely comment on a thread about him. It tells you the Yorubas already moved on, you should too.

I have nothing against the Yorubas, my blood sister is married to a Yoruba but I find it strange you equated the insults of Kanu to the killings engineered by Awolowo. The bitterness the East has for the West stems majorly from that action because he wasnt compelled to fight against Igbos especially as he was sharing same ideology with Ojukwu but not necessarily the same approach(I'm sure he regretted his actions). People who were antagonizing each other had the opportunity to separate but still yet they bunked it only to be in perpetual hatred. What a foolish country!

Okay going by this analogy now. Since you said the bitterness of the Igbos is justified based on the issue of 1967, should we Yorubas at this age fold our hand and accept the insult from your folks everytime without responding?

That was why I told you that it is what it is. Each tribe will defend their own especially when nothing unites us in this country called Nigeria.
Re: My Proposed Solution To The SARS And Police Brutality by DMerciful(m): 4:28pm On Feb 27, 2020
Nigerians don't like each other. Why other Nigerians are insisting Nigeria must be one is something I do not understand. Nigeria has outlive its usefulness. When people have deep seated trust issues and hatred, they should naturally separate. Nigeria cannot make progress so trying to sustain Nigeria is to sacrifice progress. Maybe this is what the majority wants.

Seconded. Nigeria already outlived her importance.

Bro I’ve learnt to ignore most of these guys and only engage them when needed.

As Yorubas, we shouldn’t throw stones at every dog that barks.

These guys are just trolls without a reasoning of their own. They have been programmed to regurgitate lot of rubbish like damaged robots.
of course bro. remember i told you then only mad people take ibos seriously. I don't reply to there unnecessary mentions honestly. only pick reasonable ones. that Gandollar use to make sense then but I guess the frustration is too much for her to take these days hence the reason she joined their trolling league. I take no Ibo seriously both here and in real life. I know them to be battling frustration.

Well said man. In addition to that, any Officer that commits extrajudicial killing, should be tried for murder, alongside his DPO.

Let the DPOs be responsible and accountable for the actions and conduct of their Officers.
