Good day my oga's, back in d day when I was using Mercedes flat boot, my carburetor diaphragm used to hook whenever I did high-speed driving + I felt I wasn't getting good mpg, so what did I do?.....
I put Japanese carburetor in the damn car also i removed the engine fan, and mounted japnese fan to the radiator.
My car was a half cast, half German half Japanese I drove the car for like 2years b4 I finally scrapped the whole car.

How I miss this thread I don’t know. For sure it’s not because I never Kazeemize. In fact the true definition of an Autoist like me is the ability to get home with the vehicle at all cost.

I have many to share once I load my USA hard drive but allow me to just drop this gem.

I removed a bad factory Subaru side draft carburator and replaced it with a Peugeot downdraft carburator. This worked but ended up being too tall and stuck out into the trunk. So I improvised a cover.

Well, in keeping with title of thread...

...I discovered it was safer (and cheaper) for me to pay a "vulcaniser" to clean the engine/ radiator/ condenser + air filter than to pressure wash.

I have never changed the washers on my oil or transmission drain plugs. None of them has leaked since this prolonged history of reuse...
