I think universities in UK are withholding giving international students CAS letter because of the outbreak of the COD-19 virus. I have been waiting for Uclan to send my CAS letter for over 2weeks now, sent e-mail severally to remind them but they ain’t responding...even the admission office are not picking up their calls...Is anyone experiencing same thing?

I have bsc in geophysics 2.1 and want to further in geophysics or geoscience in uk but the school fees are just too high to pay in one year 20- 30k£.
so I came across university of South Wales in offering 'msc advance applied field geoscience' at glyntaff campus for 14k£. (resealable)

Honestly my target is tier 2 visa after the psw so I want to hv a degree of profession on the shortage list.
1.my question now is this university a good university as regards the product of their graduate value and certificate value?
2.what's the position of accommodation and students jobs in glyntaff?
3. is Wales a good place to study cos I hv not seen anyone going there.
3.what other university to achieve my aim can be subjected.

Lol, been waiting for teesside to send my unconditional offer since 2 days ago after i sent my TUELT test.

Yours is just 2days...be hopeful. Mine is over 2weeks...considering I did my masters in Uclan, going back for my PhD...It’s just surprising but not unexpected...Every country is being careful since the incident of corona virus.

I just got an offer from GCU for my PhD, the offer is conditional on me providing IELTS (Academic) with overall band score of 6.5. I thought English Language requirements is waived for Nigerians by UK universities, I submitted my WAEC which I had C5 in English but this was not accepted, I'm thinking maybe it's because it's a research degree that is why they are strict on English Language requirements.

Either you write the test or apply to another school or make a strong case with your senior at work attesting that you use English as ur formal means of communication with ur C5 presented. The last option should make them accept you. Also, you can speak with your supervisor about it and the need for it to be waived. Sure that would be waived. Best of luck

Accept the offer, email the appropriate address to fix a date for your Skype interview and when you get the result from them, send both your waec result (use your phone to scan it and save it as a pdf) and your Skype interview result

Yes you can and also get paid. Also, your Uni doesn't have to approve it. Infact, avoid unpaid internships if you can, it's rubbish. Check workinstartups.com for London startup jobs/internships.

Getting a letter from your school to back up your application really help.

Don't expect to get paid, you will be lucky to get paid for an internship, some companies may give you transport money but generally you don't get paid.
