the north is getting better and keep getting better.. At least our leaders are now waking up and doing what they're are supposed to do... But what I don't understand is these propaganda and fabricated fake news used in energising ipob thugs to have cheap point in insulting the north... Instead of facing their region that is being ruin by their selfish politicians! Their problem is north... They don't good roads, they don't have clean waters, they have large number of beggars in abakiliki yet their problem is north... Always on Nairaland fabricating fake news about the north

Which area(s) are experiencing this betterment in
the North?

Ordinary peace, El rufai can't maintain between north and south. He will rather keep supporting one faction against the other.

Zamfara, kebbi govts keep paying bandits to stay away. Is that developments?

Education is a no go area, Industrialization is still dream.

Farming, which the north is known for, has not witnessed any improvements. Their failure at ranching has let their herdsmen loose running over pple's land even with federal backing...

Ogbeni, stop crying oh... Nobody do una

East don't shield their non performing governors. Anyone below par is called out, just like the case of Abia state. Aside Abia, others are excellent.

the problem with you ipobians is ignorance....so because bandit are disturbing in zamfara and kastina while Bokoharam are disturbing in maiduguri... You then conclude that the north is terror ridden and Conquered... See una reasoning....

Who told you that the word north refer to a state in the north?? The north is a region with up to 16 core northern states... Because 2 to 3 states are affected by insecurity doesn't make all the region unsafe... We have the most peaceful states in Nigeria... We have the most developed states in Nigeria... Go and learn more and stop being ignorant

The problem and major cause of poverty in the North is that most parents there are illiterate and lazy at the same time.

They only focus and channel all their strength on Religion without thinking for the betterment of their kids and family.
You stay in the North?

Everyone that gave birth to these little children and sent them to the street to beg for alms and the parent is in the house sleeping and eating, The most high God will punish them without mercy, it will never be well with them.

I cried as I read this, at age of 10, I can't do anything, children that should be taken care of,
Infact am tired for Nigeria.

Where are the parents of these children?
If they don't have parents, Governor Ganduje should put them in motherless home, at least they can be going to school from or in a boarding house.

If bokoharam get these children, they will train them to become a terrorist, they can become armed robbers, everyday we complain that bokoharam is not ending.

We need to do something for these children, to save there future.

#Governor Ganduje take care of Alamajiri

When we tell them that giving birth to numerous children when you have fewer resources is bad, they think we dont know what we are saying. Look at how those Children are suffering as result of decision made by their parents.

Had it been the suppose parents of this children made the right decision, they children won't result to scrap or refuse business for Survival.

Really? Is this what islam is about? Begging and constituting nuisance to the society or is this just contrived ignorance? If a teacher has this mindset how can his pupils and wards ever amount to anything good?

almajiri simply means one who leaves his father's house in search of Islamic knowledge.

It's mostly done by underaged kids

Go from Kano pillars stadium down to the dump site after rochas foundation and see for yourself.

Just imagine, it is obvious that this kids are brought up with the sole aim to beg for alms to survive and not work hard to earn a living. For this reason, the enlightened northern elites will be there to exploit these people as they seem fit.
Actually, they are working hard to earn a living.

Almajiri system in the north is dying a natural death even before Ganduje officially ban their activities...

This news is fake as Aba product... You guys will just sit somehow to fabricate fake news just to prove to your gullible brothers that the north is poor and not better than the south east

Now let me burst your head... With or without almajiri.... Kano alone is by far better than all the south south and south east states put together

Kano cannot be better than 6 states of south south that is providing oil money in sustaining 36 states of the Nigeria since 1970s
Kindly go back to school or research economic indice of Nigeria.

Begging is not a profession, tell alamajiri to stop begging.
