Does She Deserve Another Chance by Newtonarialand: 7:51am On Mar 01, 2020
Have been dating this gal for the past 8months now we live together she's has been hiding a secret from me there's a money on her account which she lied to me for almost 2months that is for her mum we've had issue about this money I suspected it was her money but she always denies that it was money given to her by her mum to hold for her (sorry for my English) she haven't paid her school fees so I insist that I will help her with 30k and she should call her parents to complete the rest .anytime she call her parents they always prospone her that they will give her and at the end they may only send 3k .so I complained to her that why is her mother like this, what kind of a mother will give her child money to hold for her and can't even tell her to use from the money wen the child need money . so just yesterday she said she have something to say to me and DAT pls I shouldn't been angry with her. That's when she's said the money is not for her mother that is for her ,that she was covering up for her mom and now that even her mum she's covering for don't even give her up to 5k .the money that she lied to me about that it was for her mum I borrowed a little amount from it which I told her I will pay back till she say the truth yesterday and I was very disappointed in her and she's begging me now for second chance does she really deserve it this is a gal I have plans of marrying

You are already staying together.

That girl is not fully keyed in to your future, so that cash is her rainy day buffer. How would you even believe such lie in the first place?

Anyways, I don't think this issue is serious so give her another chance but know that, you will always be the one spending as evident already.

Guys, if you cannot borrow 5k atleast once in 4 months from your girlfriend to payback in 24 hours time because she never truly have it or cannot give to you. Run, she is not an asset. She will drain you.

Forgive her but it seems you're already tired of eating her forbidden fruit.

Well, the relationship is obviously mutualistic. I guess you are getting wife benefits, so continue to provide.

But know that, it will not last. Especially after your programme.

Zero your mind, atleast you know she is a liability.

But I will advise that you do away with liabilities, they drag your backward.

You may love her but do away with her.

This is a frivolous matter. Give her another chance, that is an order. Do you know why?
The reason is not far fetched - you were able to break through her resistance, she borrowed you out of her savings out of trust - even after lying.
2. She can help build your future. Just save with her.
This is because you didn't mention her to be a lavish spender o. Take note!

I have spoken. cool

Please let me correct this assertion. She is not a liability. Do you know why? I'll tell you.
She's already in ND2, she will soon go for IT, that is when the test of her uberimae fidei will happen. If she passes, then OP, congrats.

She's a liability yet you borrowed money from her?

Maybe I didn't get that correctly.

I mean... whether it is her money or her mother's, you were able to borrow from it. Go to all these loan lending apps and find out how uneasy it is to borrow money.

Did you not see that the guy is already spending anyhow when he Is not her father, uncle, brother or husband?

She is a full ass liability who even hides money!

She is a self motivated and conscious liability, the type every man should run from.

Do not mind that guy, they keep defending bad behavior.

She is not your woman, don't wait till you are the lowest point to find out. She is a fair weather lover and will leave someday to the highest bidder when you cannot support anymore.

I have been there and I bounced her, you know why. After everything, they are never grateful because they see it as their right.

Leave now, she will never change.

You better give yourself brain while you can still think. Imagine how much you spend now to cater for both of you. It will only get worse.

You are owing her money. Better pay back before breaking up with her.

If you have made up your mind, why exactly are you on Nairaland right now?

I hope she's able to see this post and leave you. You're not married to her, you're not obligated to pay her fees or give her money. You did all that out of the abundance of your heart. She saved the money, didn't use it to flex or buy hair... you need a loan and she's there for you.

If you feel bad for giving her the money then you should be blaming yourself for making such decision.

Anyways you're still in school, you have a long way to go. Moreover, I'm 96% sure the lady will not settle down with you.

You have a saver who can shape your future. Imagine if she truly had spent the money, this issue would not arise you know? She can save your finances as she is. That's my point.

Give her one last chance. Any unnecessary lie and you dump her. Once your girlfriend thinks she can always lie to you without consequence, she will continue to lie. Until she tells you a lie that would define the rest of your life.
